I am not surprised that Dennis Kucinich's bill was re-written to remove references to some of the more "exotic" potential devices and weapons. And I certainly share Ms. Kramer's annoyance that Kucinich's staff blew her off in her efforts to find out why Kucinich's staff re-wrote the bill.
Since I have not had any responses to my e-mail to Kucinich, though, I'm not very surprised at his lack of communication. But then, since Mesa, Arizona is not in Kucinich's district, I'm not surprised one way or another; it's not like his actions would cause me to vote for or against him in the next election!
Several questions crop up in my mind as a result of the entire fiasco. First and most importantly is: who put in the chemtrail, etc. stuff there in the first place? Were those references removed because the people who put them in were pressured to take them out? And if so, by whom?
But given Kucinich's background and that of politicians in general, I doubt we'll ever know. It's pretty obvious to me that there is a tremendous credibility problem here -- either on the part of Kucinich, the person who put the wording in there in the first place, the original source of the information, the person who took it out -- or maybe all of them.
