a possible purpose of some chemtrails PostFri Mar 08, 2002 5:16 am  Reply with quote

In discussing the nature of chemtrails, a great deal of importance, of course, is given to their purpose. Weather control, biological warfare experiments, radio and satellite communications enhancement, the HAARP project, even everything up to population control have been suggested. The detection of everything from ethylene dibromide to barium crystals to fine particles of aluminum to microbes in chemtrails can suggest any of a number of these purposes. An impediment for those who wish to push the matter forward is the unfortunately large number of individuals who fixate on one purpose and declare it to be the reason behind chemtrails, when it cannot be shown to relate to other incidents. In fact, it appears that chemtrails may be used for any of a number of purposes, in any of a number of areas! Some areas may experience huge rainstorms after heavy chemtrailing, with the reddish goo that seems to accumulate then. Others may detect the fine particulate material afterward.
In New Jersey, in the recent past, chemtrail activity has seemed all but constant. The chemtrails would appear everywhere in the sky for a couple of hours at a time, then accumulate into wispy cirrus like clouds. If the chemtrailing wasn't over one area, it would be heavy over another, and then drift. Overall, there seems no part of the state that hasn't been affected, in one way or another, by chemtrails. But there was never any rain directly associated with chemtrail activity in New Jersey!
In fact, after the particularly heavy chemtrailing over at least Northern New Jersey since about October 2001, there has been almost no precipitation whatsoever! You may have seen in the news that New Jersey is being declared as in a drought! One by one, massive weather systems would be described as moving across country, from the West Coast to the East, with promises of significant rainfall accumulation for New Jersey. But, in the period before the systems were expected to arrive, chemtrail activity would be significantly increased. As a result, all that we would get would be a sprinkle. All the rain that we were supposed to get was all but eliminated; what we received was de minimus at best. Except for one snowfall, the only significant rain in New Jersey in the last half year was just last week! But chemtrail activity has been fairly constant over this area of the state, at least, in that time.
Importantly, though, the only time in the recent past when there has been no chemtrailing or drifting over of cirrus clouds from chemtrails, was in two days or so before the heavy rain last week!
It appears, then, that a purpose of chemtrails, here, at least, is to prevent rainfall.
It could be useful, then, to examine how chemtrails could prevent rain.
When two air masses come into contact, if they are significantly thermodynamically different from each other - one, very cold and very dry; the other, very warm and very wet - they can, essentially, fail to mix initially. Such a situation, I believe, is referred to as “occlusion”. One air mass, then, would, likely, pass over the other. However, they would not utterly fail to mix while in contact. Slight mixing would take place while they were in contact initially. However, eventually, they would start to resemble each other more, thermodynamically, and that would cause them to mix more readily, but it could be the sudden, all but catastrophic, kind of mixing that can produce thunderclouds and rain.
If, however, an aircraft flew along the boundary between the two air masses, it could, by its presence and the stirring up of the atmosphere, effectively stimulate the mixing between the air masses more than would be the case normally. This “gentle” kind of mixing would exchange air between the two masses more readily than normal. Continued disturbing of the air between the masses could allow them to resemble each other slowly and steadily, not in the sudden upwelling that is often seen before a thunderstorm. Clouds would form from the mixing of the air, but they would be thin and wispy, not the thick, heavy clouds seen in rainstorms. Chemtrails can be seen when a plane deliberately travels along the border between the air masses.
Interestingly, this would not even, necessarily, require any special kind of emission from a jet between the air masses; even a traditional jet flying between the air masses could, conceivably, cause this kind of “gentle” mixing, and so prevent rain clouds from forming.
The overwhelming prevalence of chemtrails over New Jersey over the last few months, and the subsequent absence of significant rain only attests to the apparent effect of chemtrails in preventing rain. Unlike the suggested use of rain, or other forms of weather, to control the course of battle, though, this, too, could be seen as having a military or political impact. Preventing crucial rainfall, starving a population or subjecting them to drought, could be a major tool in controlling the ability of an “enemy” nation to wage war.
Indeed, it can even be said that such tactics are already at work in the state. Jim McGreevey, far from a likeable - or even trusted - governor, as a result of his actions immediately upon entering office, has taken to exercising all but dictatorial powers to get his way. At first, he took all but unlimited power upon himself because of a supposed need to handle a purportedly immense budget deficit. Now, the need to “fight the drought” seems intended to allow him to take massive liberties with his position!
This is not to say that the other suggested types of chemtrails seen elsewhere, and yielding far different results, don’t exist. It simply seems that this is one of a menagerie of chemtrail types, each with different purposes to serve various local influence peddlers’ wishes.

I didn't know that New Jersey and North Carolina had so much in common!!!! It seems that our "weather" is very similar.

"a supposed need to handle a purportedly immense budget deficit."

!!!!!!
Same here in NC, although King Easley hasn't started in on the drought yet.

Dear Mr. Penrod:

You have presented an interesting and thought-provoking hypothesis. Since I am not a meterologist, I lack the expertise to comment on your observation. Dr. Patrick Minnis, a NASA meterologist and author of many papers on aerosol emissions and contrails, often posts here (under the handle of "canex"); I am sure he would be able to comment on the feasibility ot the proposed methodology.

However, from what I understand, people here who subscribe to the Flight Explorer program report a very close correlation between contrails (both long-lasting and quickly-dissipating) and normal commercial air routes between major airports. Given the meteorological information available to Flight Explorer, it should be fairly easy to attempt a correlation between aircraft contrails and the boundaries between two dissimilar air masses.

If it can be shown that such a correlation exists, and that the suspect contrails are not on the usual air corridors, then a case could be made for causal rather than casual correlation.

I'd strongly recommend that you investigate the capabilities of Flight Explorer to continue with your research. I hope to hear further information from you.

Thanks for your post.

Regards,
