I just watched this documentary. 77 minutes in length.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4920138942953644691&q=Rape+of+Nanking&total=215&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1
Titled "The Rape of Nanking "
The past has been forgotten.
We are doomed to repeat it.
Ponerology takes the lead again today.
We have all been kept in captivity of the horrors of govt.
This documentary should rock you to your soul. _________________ ". . . that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately, by the grace of God." -- Thomas Jefferson's Last Letter, June 24, 1826 |

Hi Stitch. Mention of the Rape of Nanking makes me think of the author of the book of that name, Iris Chang. While researching for a subsequent book about the Bataan Death March, Iris Chang went to Louisville, Kentucky to interview veterans. A mysterious colonel met her there and helped her check into Norton Psychiatric Hospital where she was administered antipsychotic drugs for three days. She was never the same after that.
From "Iris Chang and the curse of the whistleblower" 21 April 2005 by Larry Chin
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=44462
....Who was the colonel? What really happened to [Iris] during this harrowing time, spent alone and apart from family and friends?
Chang wrote in her own suicide note that she was the target of a government operation to discredit her.
She wrote: "There are aspects of my experience in Louisville that I will never understand. Deep down I suspect that you may have more answers about this than I do. I can never shake my belief that I was being recruited, and later persecuted, by forces more powerful than I could have imagined. Whether it was the CIA or some other organization I will never know. As long as I am alive, these forces will never stop hounding me....
On 11 May 2006 I happened upon an article [September 17, 2005
"The Ghosts of Unit 731" 17 Sept 2005 in "American Thinker"] about info kept secret by the Japanese and American governments for over 60 years, and posted this about it (on another board)...
Today I read about a cover up of Japanese war crimes involving chemical and biological experiments on American prisoners. MacArthur's chief of staff, Charles Willoughby, was involved. Recently, knowledge of this has become mainstream (but not at the time Iris Chang was doing her research).
