I think aol should be done messing around with things now, but I'm not sure yet. I was able to upload a few things, but didn't try to create another page yet. I also haven't got my other computer up and running yet so I'm not sure if there would be a problem with accessing the pages using a different computer but it really shouldn't make a difference. - I have a friend who a chat room Host Guide and I will ask her about it if I see her on line. |

As far as I know KnewEyes, there shouldn't be any difference with the computer that you're using to access aol with as long as you're at a recognized "home" location. Of course there might be some files downloaded by aol to your other computer that the one your using might not have, but other than that, you shouldn't really have a problem accessing your home page. - When Dan's files were missing from his FTP space (keyword: ftp space)there was a message from aol stating that they were upgrading all the counters that were specifically used by easy designer (and of course Dan has counters on all 10 of his pages)but that the upgrading would be done by May. At first when his pages were returned to their normal place, they could not be accessed from his profile, but things returned to normal a few hours later. - I'd say give it a day or two before you try to update your page. |

Ahhhh. there's that music again
Thank you Krissa for that information. And Thank you Dan for your offer of asking about what the heck is going on with home pages on aol.
Yes,,, that makes sense Krissa, about the files I have downloaded on my other computer(which ns NOT working right for my friend who took it to Florida, Windows wont completely load dammit!)I guess I will just have to wait till I get my other puter back before I can update
But..... when I went to the "help" section of the easy designer,it said a pentium based computer is needed, which is crazy, because this Athlon 750 (brand new when I bought it from ebay a year and a half ago $480 w/20 gig HD, what a deal back then!) is supposed to have alot more kick than my very much missed pentium 200 laptop. I think that that may be the problem, that this is not a pentium.

I don't know anything about Athlon computers KnewEyes. I'm still playing around with Pentiums. I got a Pentium 75, a 166 and a 233 and will probably upgrade 2 of them to 400's eventually.
BTW, I added a page to my aol site and hyperlinked the missing images.
