Where are they going?

it's a phenomenon that has puzzled me since i started observing contrails and id like to hear what others think about this: I live on the west cost, and the town i live in, haward is near to three hubs of air traffic SFO, OAK,and SJO. as i've watched the aircraft (some of wich are obviously planes while others are not distinguishable as fixed-wing aircraft) i've often wondered where they could be comming from or heading to since theyre not stopping here or leaving from this area. my buddy emfx and i have discussed this at legnth but have not really come up with anything solid. does anyone else wonder about destination. right now i'm leaning toward nonstop flights refuled and flight crews (if there are any) changed in the air. |
