Movie review 1996 trails in OZ

It is Cold outside here in the Ohio Valley today. I have been feeling a little on the lousy side all week,Flu like symptoms again. So I sit down with the wife and watch a movie on Showtime this afternoon,It is called Race the Sun .copyright1996 it is a story about a group of high school students from Hawaii competing in a Electric car race across Australia. The first night out they had to quit at sunset .I couldn't believe my eyes a perfect grid pattern just like we are used to seeing up here in Ohio. So needless to say I watched th rest of the movie very close, Lots of sky in this one, plenty of chem clouds in other parts. I wonder if they perfected the routine that they use on us today by practicing on our friends down in OZ a couple of years earlier..roman |

Thanks Dirk , that is kind of what I thought as soon as I seen the trails in the movie.You can bet I will be watching this one again because it was filmed in the OZ outback and Hawaii. Like I said the movie is about a Solar/Battery powered car race across OZ lots of sky shots out in the out back. another intresting part of the story a couple of the kids got sick I dont know if it was part of the script or something that happened on the set and they just left it in the story. |
