Thanks Alcon!
Nice to have a pilot that will admit that there is something going on in our skies. |

Thanks Alcon for the great close-up pics! Thanks everyone who've added their shots to the image base. Thermit, you've amassed quite a gallery.
Please folks remember to use upper and lower case in your titles and descriptions.

Great Florida shots, Alcon! Thank you for adding these.
Don't know if you were flying over the east coast on Saturday, January 26 but, if you were, I'm sure you cannot have missed that day's spectacular SHOW, which I witnessed from Boston to TF Green on the bus between 4:00 and 6:00pm - and all the way down to Orlando on Flight 2120. A real full-spectrum MESS down there the next couple of days as well. |

THANK YOU, ALCON!!!
A former member of this board, Dirk Digler (also a pilot), said it would be too dangerous for him to take time away from his duties in order to take pictures from the flight deck.
Obviously you took the pictures and suffered no safety consequences. Thanks for your very valuable contribution. |

Taking photos above 10,000FT is FAA approved in the airlines, as is 'visiting' the restroom for physiological needs. A man has to do, what he has to do!
The "Sterile Cockpit" rules apply below 10K.

Howdy ALCON777, good of you to post these photos, not many pilots have the guts to get involved in this issue.
I have a question for ya. Do you fly over N. Calif.? If so have you noticed how low the spray planes are here? Most of the sprayers doing the deed here come from the NW and are at approx. 15,000'. I base this on the amount of detail seen on the aircraft and how big it looks to the naked eye.
(debunkers will have a field day with that one)
Thanks for the information. David |

IB,
All of your questions have been asked before and answered....on other message boards. Search around and you'll find them.

ib,
I believe you and I have messaged before on another board. If you recall, I stated that I did not favor the tenor of your posts. As a result, I terminated all responses to your posts and supplied you with my e-mail. The same applies now.
With respect in the Brotherhood of Safe Flight,

The aircraft this gentleman was "flying"in is a real piece!!Notice the damaged plastiform above the windows....Is this what condition the commercial aircraft we fly on are in??I dont think this is a 777, looks more like a 60-70s era aircraft, probably a DC-8.In any case it is my oppinion this photo was taken while the plane was on the ground and stationary and the scenes thru the windows were added by making a composite photograph. If it was in the air, the pilot and passengers were lucky to survive!

This is a very interesting shot. Could you tell us from what altitude this was taken?
Thanks.
