Fondest Greetings PostSat May 25, 2002 12:32 am  Reply with quote

Hello everyone! This is my first post here but I've been lurking around for a few months, reading and then rereading to make sure I was actually reading right and it wasn't my ever present brain fog. I originally stumbled onto this site while researching why autoimmune disorders are so common in my general neck of the woods. I live between Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY. Around here, there's no shortage of chemical plants(niagara falls), airports, airforce bases, huge power lines and towers in backyards, pesticides for all the dairy and grape farms, etc.....I live right under the flight paths to the airports, one which is the major public one and the other a private airport. As a child, I lived closer to the airport(s) than I do now so perhaps the mere complacency of being around airplanes kept me from noticing any difference between contrails and chemtrails. I think until yesterday, I wasn't really certain of the dynamics of a chemtrail but because it was one of the few clear days we've had round here, it wasn't difficult to see that the trails weren't going anywhere, they lingered and some grew fatter, then almost appeared to become a feathered type of cloud. I'm now wondering if our bad weather is something else than natural because Buffalo has a bad stereotype for weather but I've never seen weather this weird. The last five summers, at least, have been so extreme from one year to the next....cold and wet to drought the next year, to intense heat the year after, to rain and cold the following year. After winter around here, spring and summer are usually great, well, not anymore but I do have fond memories.

I've been reading posts here and I'm getting a bit more scared about what I now know but mostly from what I don't know. I have too many people in my family and husband's family that are sick or were sick but didn't get better. My mother died in 9/2000 from heart failure but no heart problems were ever discovered and she was checked by her very competent nurse who came every week to change her cathater. My mom had multiple sclerosis, which is why she needed a cathater. The doctors think perhaps it was just so long taking so many drugs and having so many infections, that it basically wore her out. She died at 60 but looked 90 and she probably felt much older than that. I had to buy some clothes for her burial and had the hardest time getting shoes for her. She always hated that her feet were too swollen and bent, (literally), to wear shoes that were pretty. I could only find birkenstock sandals for her to fit into, even though she barely weighed 100lbs. Her mother had multiple sclerosis too and she died two weeks after my grandfather, who had a stroke. Stress of five kids and a bed ridden wife. The real hard part is that my mom was the oldest child and took care of all the kids and her mother while her dad worked. Unfortunately, my moms parents died when she was pregnant with me. My mom's aunt had ms too. This isn't the type of m.s. that there is a couple flare ups and some weakness but the hardcore, progressive, strip every nerve down, type of ms. It hits hard and fast. My mom went from cane to walker to wheelchair in a year's time. Now that I'm all weepy here.......sorry for rambling on and on....my husbands favorite aunt has this same type of hardcore ms. I have an uncle with lymphoma, an aunt that had bone cancer, another had ovarian cancer...a couple uncles had cancer that is caused by asbestos that they encountered in the chemical plants they worked for. They were only drivers though, not actual plant workers. Guess it doesn't matter. My mother inlaw has fibromyalgia, my sister has fibromyalgia, asthma, hypothyroid....my nephew has now been diagnosed with asthma(he's five), my son has ADHD(i know the controversey around that, but whatever he has, it is more than behavioral), my daughter has so many ear infections, even my cat has some virus that the vet said would never go away, so he sneezes big ol' snots and his eye is contstantly oozing. He was from a stray cat family that lived next to my house which may explain it but the other kitten that my brother now has, oozes in the same way. Yuck, i know. I have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome first (CFIDS) for short, fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome. The past six years I have been on disability, and a big chunk of what should be the most productive time in my life, is gone. I'm 33 now, in total pain from head to toe and nobody can do much about it. Symptoms may get better but then I just get a new and improved symptom to take the last one's place. My muscles are constantly in a spasm.....my neck area is always tweaked and if I turn the wrong way at the wrong time, which is most of the time, the spasm just literally chokes me...the spasms under my ribs are the true killers though, turn the wrong way, or cough too hard and the pain is just brilliant. Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse, I started getting mouth ulcers. I can't eat, sleep, talk, or sometimes drink when I have these. This is no little canker sore type thing, these things are huge and they swell my tongue out so if I do fall asleep, it's always a rude awakening when my teeth find it and rub against one of the ulcers. The worst part is the cognitive dysfunction though because I have no short term memory, can't rember what I read, names, spelling the simplest words or remembering what a simple word even is. Books, reading in general is and was so much of my life....I majored in philosophy and here i am....stoopid. I'd take the pain over the brain fog.

Apologies for carrying on so long here and any apparent babble....I am really thankful for finding this site and for just reading your posts. I'd be very grateful if anyone could shed any light on the autoimmune diseases for me, whether or not you live in western ny or not....i know too many people with lupus, ms, diabetes, chronic sinus infections, asthma, etc...I have to go in next week for a thyroid ultrasound and my daughter is again with an ear infection. She also had meningitis or what they thought might be viral meningitis as a baby(4months), but really they were just guessing. The docs just knew that her spinal fluid was off and her fever too high. That was scary but she did fine getting over that and will soon be celebrating her 9th bday. Hopefully, her ears will clear up as my son's eventually did after tubes, endless antibiotics, etc...YIKES i'm babbling again.

Thank you so much for all the information already provided and truly, I'm not a whiner by nature even though that's all i've done in this post. Again, thank you.

Lunachick, Hello! Touching story about your mom, real sorry to hear of all your medical difficulties also. Have you considered taking MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane), a totally natural detoxifier and pain reliever. It may take several months to kick in for you, but what have you got to lose? Take care!

Hello Lunachick. No need to appologize for carrying on especially with all that you and your family have been going through.
I lost my mother on June 27 of 2001 from a sudden heart attack and she had complained about a burning sensation in her lungs not long before she died. I've been involved with the emergency medical services here in Stamford for almost 20 years and it's rare that I don't either hear about or respond to a person having a heart attack or having trouble breathing lately. I have seen a sudden increase of respiratory illnesses, infections and medical problems in adults and children over the past few months that I have never seen before.

I also had to help take care of a horse that developed a weepy eye that a vet diagnosed as moon blindness that was supposedly caused by a bacterial infection though only one eye was affected. The horse actually went blind in one eye but recovered sight in that eye after a week of antibiotics and keeping the stall window closed for 2 weeks. The horse can't go outside for more than an hour now without getting a runny nose or watery eyes.

Well anyway, I have done some documenting of the increase of the illnesses in children and have posted a lot of the articles that I could find here http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000092.html

Dear Lunachick; I just know there are things you can do to build up your immune system. You might want to check out the site www.drclark.com and order her book "Cure for all Diseases" She has a unique approach to health and gives reasonable solutions. Most of us are poisoning ourselves every day by ordinary products we use, alternatives are suggested. I'm presently reading and applying gradually. Also, another site that might be helpful is www.sharinghealth.com You might want to learn about colloidal silver (good for the immune system) it can easily and cheaply be made with what is called " the silver pulser" and oxygenated water as well as blood electrification (doesn't hurt) (have done all these things and have had some outstanding changes but still working on things) Several of my friends have fibromyalgia. You might want to think of moving into a more remote area if possible. I feel sure you can be helped but not likely from orthodox medicine. Hang in there and you've got to educate yourself and make changes. Wishing you well, Jeanie P.S.It might be wise to start with a physical and go from there.

Hi Lunachick,

In addition to the excellent suggestions by Jeanie, I've been finding it helpful to take larger does of vitamin C, about 500mg three times per day. I also take a multi-vitamin that supplies other vitamins and minerals.

This site contains quite a bit of information on vitamin C to treat cancer, heart disease, etc. Dr. Rath researched alongside Linus Pauling for ten years. The three books on the site are downloadable for free. Thus far I read "Ten years that changed medicine forever".
