Thanks for the information Ellyn.
Both Krissa and I have been doing quite a bit of research on the Flight 800 incident and I had posted an article on 6/1/02 concerning the shrapnel that was found in the bodies on page 2 of this thread http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000672.html and I'm glad that Rense picked up on it too.
As anyone will see with what information that we've been able to accumulate with the help of SoreThroat and other members of Chemtrail Central is that Flight 800 was brought down by a missile and not the explosion of its center fuel tank. |

The jet that crashed was Flight 587 and there was a lot of controversy about it exploding before it crashed and that there was some kind of cover-up. I did a quick search and found a few articles about flight 587.

Flight 587 Witnesses Charge Cover-Up
Dozens of eyewitnesses to the Nov. 12 crash of American Airlines Flight 587 now say the government is ignoring their claims that the Airbus 300 exploded in midair before breaking up minutes after takeoff at New York's JFK airport.
Six Flight 587 witnesses, including a recently retired police lieutenant and a fire department deputy chief, have written to the National Transportation Safety Board to demand a full public hearing on what they saw, the New York Post reported Monday.
"The NTSB is not acknowledging the many eyewitness accounts of the in-flight fire or explosion, many from people who are adamant that the fire occurred before any tail or engine breakup," retired firefighter and eyewitness Tom Lynch told the paper.
Lynch said he saw two fireballs erupt from the plane's right side and insisted, "There were no falling parts until the second explosion of flames - I'll go to my grave with that."
Another witness not quoted by the Post corroborated Lynch's account almost exactly in an interview just minutes after the crash.
Jackie Powers told ABC-News in New York that she saw "an enormous flash" on the right side of the plane's fuselage, with debris exiting to the left.
"The right wing seemed to catch fire and explode. The wing was on fire with a trail of smoke behind it," a third witness told New York's WABC Radio that morning.
Additionally, a Metropolitan Transportation Authority traffic surveillance tape that reportedly captured Flight 587's short flight was turned over to the FBI. The video's quality is said to be poor, but a New York Daily News reporter who was allowed to view the one-frame-per-second images said it shows a "puff of smoke" in the cloudless sky after the AA 300 Airbus plummeted to the ground.
Investigators have declined to release the tape and have not returned numerous calls from NewsMax.com asking about its contents.
James Kallstrom, the FBI's former TWA 800 lead investigator and now chief of New York state's Office of Public Security, told NewsMax two weeks after the crash:"I have not seen the tape. I heard some mention of it. But I've not seen the tape and I really have no knowledge of it. Why it hasn't been released, I suspect, is because the investigation is ongoing."
In a weekend interview with the Post, an NTSB spokesman made no mention of the video but said that over 200 Flight 587 witnesses had been interrogated and that their accounts were being considered as part of the investigation.

I thought I'd just put the article in here so it didn't get lost.

The TWA Flight 800 Independent Researchers Organization, FIRO, has taken the unusual step of filing a petition with the National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB, asking for reconsideration of the findings on the probable cause of the (1996) crash of TWA Flight 800 (in the Atlantic after take off from New York).
Such petitions are entertained only if new evidence has been found or a showing that the NTSB findings were erroneous. FIRO claims that some evidence that the NTSB kept secret and which has now become available for public scrutiny is new evidence that shows that the official findings were erroneous.
Their petition cites as one important example metals of "unknown origin" that were found in the bodies of many of those who died in the crash on July 17, 1996.
The FBI asked the Brookhaven National Laboratory to analyze pellets found in the bodies. They contained zirconium and barium, indicative of an incendiary device foreign to a Boeing 747 airliner.
The NTSB acknowledges that the source of these pellets is unknown and that the FBI did not try to determine the source.
The Suffolk County coroner, Dr. Wetli, found shrapnel in 89 of the bodies he examined. The FBI compiled a secret eight-page list describing the metal found in each of the bodies. FIRO has sued under FOIA (the Freedom of Information Act) to obtain this list.
The court ordered the FBI to release it, but they are trying to get that reversed on privacy grounds, claiming it invades the privacy of the dead. That is a spurious argument because the dead have no privacy rights, but FIRO is not arguing that point.
It says it is not interested in the names of those in whose bodies the shrapnel was found. What it wants is its description of the metal found in each of those bodies. It is believed that a lot of it will be pellets.
Retired Brigadier General Benton Partin, who helped design missiles for the Air Force, has said that the Brookhaven Laboratory's analysis of the composition of the mysterious pellets suggests to him that they came from a missile.
The FBI and NTSB never showed Gen. Partin or any other missile experts the Brookhaven analysis. They were content to list the shrapnel as coming from an unknown source.
Their throwing a secrecy blanket over this evidence and their failure to determine its source indicates that they knew that sourcing it accurately would undermine their claim that a spontaneous fuel-tank explosion caused the crash.
The penchant of the FBI and NTSB for hiding, altering and finally destroying TWA Flight 800 evidence is very revealing. Last summer the NTSB, headed by a Bush appointee, secretly sold all the TWA 800 wreckage that had been kept at the Calverton hangar as scrap metal to be recycled. The buyer had to promise to keep it secret to get the contract.
The NTSB claims that the reason the buyer was asked not to tell anyone was to keep away scavengers and souvenir hunters. Why should the NTSB care about that once it was no longer their property? We believe they were determined to make sure it was all recycled so that none of it could be used as evidence to challenge their finding of the cause of the crash..
