nope.....
BTW, you hump.....there are no debunkers or skeptics left at carniscam (that are real).....so your flaming posts denoting silence by debunkers is ignorant...... |

I don't have to go to the 9th....
I'll give you the skew-t does not anywhere near justify trail production...BUT if you look at the water vapor link....you see all kinds of unstable air....thus trails...and they probably looked real cool !
I have seen trails maybe 4 times in the last 40 days ,44 without rain here....things are a changin' though....look at the gulf...and the cold air mass from the north...timing ?
>"I can't say that we've missed you over at Carnicom's board. It's actually been a real breath of fresh air...one of the few I've had recently and it's greatly appreciated."<
Yep, I bet S/T , the lack of response to your posts shows my absense....indeed....
I'm surprised at you and skylooker's choice to not post at christy's board....if you all wish to be chickens and hide from the light that's your biz...I guess....so what have you say...can bacteria live in the clouds ?
I forgot...you hump !

Seeker,
Given the terms of membership which I agreed to when I joined this forum I will not stoop to your level to respond in kind.
I assume that this is a moderated board, and that if you maintain your present demeanor you will be tossed from here as well.
Once again, no loss. |

Bet that just killed you to have to put a email addy down....
Have you figured out where to put the bumpersticker ? Or do you think it might give away your position ?
Using ADDS I checked your finding and the temperature of yours differs considerably, -35 to -40 ,all kinds of moisture around...
Ya' know S/T your really starting to sound like carnicom...not the 'nut' part but your sentence structure and tone.....yuk ! |

The text-based sounding looks damn dry to me...
Seeker please explain how to use ADDS for dates in the past.

You can't Thermitt, however you can capture screens , and or take a observation, use plots of present plot progression backward and get a decent idea of how it would have looked...I remember seeing ship trails on the weather channel dot com before I left for work on the 9th....
Sore Throat has a tendency to exaggerate the worst of things in order to make a point...
Even in the appearance of dry conditions contrails can form....check this :
http://www.geophys.washington.edu/Surface/Atmospheric/icephys/main.html
So I can't call S/T a hump anymore....damn... |

Seeker,
If you had only the textual skew-Ts to go off of, and you had to make your best approximation of the required factors for contrail persistance what would your parameters be? |

Anyone who has followed seeker will be quite familiar with the vacuous and specious quality of his posts. This characteristic has been uniformly predictable.
You will note that no effort was made to distinguish the objective, measured, verifiable atmospheric conditions that resulted in horizon to horizon trails in the SF Bay Area on Friday Sept 8th, and the absence of any on the 9th.
And it is when he is cornered with such facts that he reverts to personal attacks, pathetically attempting to redirect the focus away from the topic at hand.
Pure Dubunk.
And by the way seeker, plenty of moisture in our area today, but no persistent trails.
Keep at it and we'll all keep laughing! |

If your talking persistent contrails -35 to -40 ,and RH of 60% to 80%......
that would be a reasonable set of parameters
the only problem with soundings is they are only accurate within certain parameters, knowing S/T as I do he probably sat around all day til he found one that would lead to suspicion..... |

>And by the way seeker, plenty of moisture in our area today, but no persistent trails.
I bet you have none tomorrow either....throat....
>Keep at it and we'll all keep laughing!<
statements like that throat, is exactly why you are a 'hump'.......
I'm not the one who runs inside and puts a blanket over his head when I see contrails....
I guess you have not seen the new welsbach stuff...to busy with character assasination....eh ?

A quote from another board :
SKYLOOKER
Registered User
(9/11/00 8:05:07 pm)
"trails" o'er Sac-town,,,,,,,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They wanted to make them-selves quite apparent on 9/8-and 9/9. No "trails" since then, but there is a new mode of transmission, that we and you out there in internet land cannot lend a real hand to. Planes continue to plague our environs/in and out/get ready for, the new Mix!>>>>>>>CHIEF SKYLOOKER.
*******************************************
According to skylooker....there was trails on the 9th ...throat....so by your implication, saying you had none...that is is not possible to have trails and not have trails in the distance between sacremento and your area ?
If 'they' can make trails regardless of the atmospheric condition then you should have had them too....right....throat !
I cannot wait for your response....
If you don't...then you have been exposed...
I think Jay would say....HA !
