Well... Maybe if there is a little fairness tucked away in there somewhere, you will look at the title of this thread to acheive a little understanding of how a "flame war" might occur.
The differnce between CQ and myself, is that he ENJOYS this nonsense, as evidenced by his extensive sarcastic use of smiley faces, cartoons, and jokes. I absolutely DETEST bickering. However, I WILL NOT EVER back down to lies, and intentional deception. I will defend myself wherever I see myself misrepresented. I hope that is OK with you, because it's not going to change. I have witnessed you on many an occasion, defending yourself, and also OFFENDING others.
Oh... But because that's Chem11 doing it, it's OK... We should not hold him to his own standards. I'm sorry, but I have to use the old cliche again...
NO SALE.

Let me assure you that TML's and Erasuredude's IPs are different! I agree with Moonstar, take the BS off the board. Maybe you guys should get together is a bar or something and duke it out to see who is the top dog? |

No problemo Wonder Wmn. Somehow I think the fingers will keep on pointing. We can't point fingers at the nameless perpetrators who desecrate our skies so we point fingers at each other, well some of us do anyway. |

You're wrong Lulu. And you're wrong to bring this back up to the top. You were not logged on the night Eraserdude made his comments. I was....
And you are now forcing me to comment, by claiming authority on the subject and implying that I have no basis for my accusations of TML.
I want you consider something else. I have taken Microsoft's official TCP/IP course (now retired) in order to obtain my MSCE certificate in NT4.0. I now possess an MCSE in Windows 2000 as well. My electives were exchange server, proxy server, and data base server as well as TCP/IP.
Now this does not qualify me as an expert in the TCP/IP protocol....but how many others on this board can say the same. How many others use these utilities built into TCP/IP in the course of their daily jobs. I use it on occasion to ensure network connectivity and to identify failed network components.....
Admittedly this doesn't bring me up to hacker status...but it does qualify me to know the way the numbers are dynamically assigned in scopes from DHCP servers. It enables me to make a sound judgment by observing IP numbers………but more importantly, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to notice how many people are commenting on this board using TML’s unique ISP and domain name. Other members do subscribe to TML's service...but I do not see them making comments using it. They are certainly not the regulars.
I was able to create a record of TML's IP and eraserdude's IPs when he was online for comparison.....and I assure you....they were glaringly obvious. Although IP numbers in themselves are not enough to identify an individual computer given the fact that today they are dynamically assigned, there was enormous supporting evidence, that any body could observe.
I am able and willing to make an excellent and detailed case on this board.....if Thermit will allow me....but by making this statement, I risk being kicked off from the board as it is...

Hey Cy,
Wasn't purposely trying to bring anything "to the top", just replying as I see them. Your IP training sounds fascinating and no doubt you do your homework, but one of the priveledges of being a moderator is the IP viewing. While the two IPs in question are similar, they are also different. |

I can't comment further without Mark's approval (he knows why), except to say IPs are different from post to post even with the same individual....I was able to take this into account with TML/Eraserdude's posts! The frequency of IP number change depends on the IP lease period assigned to the client machine by the servers of the client's ISP.....however an ISP which owns only one segment will have a constant network number.
I have proof and can make a strong argument but require Mark's approval to post it.
