Well, looks like Reynolds recent contacts with the EPA via the FOIA have resulted in them sending the samples back. Perhaps they will be submitted for testing at another lab...

Veritas News Service

Dear Mr. Reynolds:
Thank you for your interest in the request for examination and identification of a "Fibrous Substance Sample", submitted by Messrs. Carnicom and Peterson of the "Chemtrail Research Fund" to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator at that time, Carol Browner, in January 2000, with a related correspondence received from these individuals dated May 20, 2000. As you may know from our response to your earlier Freedom of Information Act (F.O.I.A.) request, we replied to Carnicom and Peterson in February and June 2000, regarding this issue. We trust the documents provided to you on this matter by your recent F.O.I.A. request, No. HQ-RIN-00868-01 were helpful.
Additionally, we would like to advise you that the unsolicited sample has been returned without analysis to Messrs. Carnicom and Peterson, so that they may if they choose to arrange for analysis. It is not the policy of this EPA office to analyze unsolicited materials. You may wish to contact Carnicom and Peterson regarding their sample.

Again, thank you for your interest in this matter.

Sincerely,
(signed)
