(In an innocent voice)_ Pretty clouds.
A similar cloud formation is found here: http://ww2010.atmos.uiuc.edu/(Gh)/wwhlpr/cirrus.rxml?hret=/guides/mtr/cld/cldtyp/home.rxml
Note I said SIMILAR: In the picture of the site above they are called Cirrus.
In your credit-card picture there are Cirrus shot through with "contrails" - A clear "contrail" is seen coming out of the third set off numbers streaking up and to the left.
So called "contrails" do spread out and in "congested" areas they take on the same appearance of Cirrus Clouds. On days of wind, it is interesting to watch as the "contrail" moves against the higher more stable cirrus clouds, or visa versa.
It makes for a great cover story - "All you are seeing is Cirrus Clouds" but a careful long term observation soon reveals that cirrus clouds tend to "fan" while "contrails" tend to be straight lines.
From the Shell Logo in the upper Right-hand corner we have Cirrus Cloud Formation. The rest appear to be old contrails through the account number. The lower picture is a hard call to make due to the reflection of light and the brownish/orange color of the cloud - perhaps smog?
Please note the quotation marks - These denote "official" words which isn't guaranteed to reflect the truth.
This Card is a wonderful advertisement of the beauty and majesty of the oil industry and how it reflects the pretty changes made tot he sky (Smog, contrails and oil/petrol tanks dotting the landscape).
