No winners in last nights debate, especially the American people.

Obviously, there were no winners.
Both participants were busy patting each other on the back...but John Kerry's accolades to Bush were particularly egregious. Neither addressed THE CHINA QUESTION--which looms as America's most-potent adversary--strategically (e.g., Red China now owns the Panama Canal and strategic entry into San Pedro, California, Naval harbor) and economically (the U.S. just posted a 3.3 GNP net-growth forecast versus China's 8.0+ forecast for the proceeding year, in the same series of the world's and industry evaluation processes). & neither ventured in any iota the "what for" for North Korea. That slight might be (probably is) a strategic decision; but I recall Reagan's "tear down that Wall" statement, to Gorbachev.
Neither ventured even close to Reagan's (hardly the perfect President) convictions.
Both "looked good" at 3-minute intervals and lapsed in others. (And, as the debate focused solely and errantly on "international issues," neither can be blamed on omitting matters of national trust.)
I found that Bush, particularly, lapsed in coherency in the final 3 minutes of Jim Lehrer's instructions. Kerry (hey, I'm a Ron Paul-backer...am in no way Kerry-adherent, so don't blame the messenger) outdistanced Bush in articulacy in the final 90 seconds of the debate, and held his own in the entire debate (though Bush looked more prepared and strident and focused during the Iraq-related minutes, naturally...as he's had nearly four years in office and daily coaching on the issue).
Neither party ventured the issue of a free Taiwan. Neither side offered a clue as to what to do in re: Missile Defense of the USA.
My question is: Why the f*ck, if Iraq possessed no nuclear capabilities, are we in Iraq and not North Korea? (The answer is obvious, and it stems toward the Bush family network [and, for that matter, Clinton's payoffs related to the] fiscal concerns of communist China as they adhere to "U.S. business interests"--Prescott Bush [uncle] and Neil Bush [brother] being the most-egregious investors/inhibitors/inheritors of Red China monies.)
A 3-card-Monty. Watch that hand. |
