Army Having Difficulty Meeting Goals In Recruiting

Where are all the raving, lunatic, pro-war republicans? Why aren't they readily enlisting to fight for their wonderful God-child and savior Bush? I thought Bush had a popular mandate from the voters upholding his causes? Looks like all this pro-military bravado from the right is nothing more than a cheap show with no action (I knew it all along). I guess the tough army talk is only reserved for talk radio, Fox News, right-wing blogs and message boards. You don't think a Bill O'reilly or Sean Hannity are ever going to pick up a gun and do Bush's dirty work do you?
I think that Bush's "man-date" was actually Jeff Gannon.

quote: The active-duty Army is in danger of failing to meet its recruiting goals, and is beginning to suffer from manpower strains like those that have dropped the National Guard and Reserves below full strength, according to Army figures and interviews with senior officers .
For the first time since 2001, the Army began the fiscal year in October with only 18.4 percent of the year's target of 80,000 active-duty recruits already in the pipeline. That amounts to less than half of last year's figure and falls well below the Army's goal of 25 percent.

BushCo is ALL smoke and mirrors. He didn't win the election. He doesn't have popular support. The rest of the world hates his guts. People are not joining the armed forces. Iraq is a disaster. The dollar is collapsing. That's why he has to put plants like Gannon, the male gay prostitute to ask light weight questions. All the King's men couldn't put Humpty together agian. _________________ Heard it from a pilot who spoke real gooooood! |

quote: He didn't win the election
He didn't win either election, like a true republican, he stole them with the use of rigged voting machines.
How can a man mentally incapable of running a washing machine be trusted to run an entire country? Well he is running it actually, swiftly, headfirst, right in to the ground.
The Jeff Gannon mole is just a minor infraction as compared to the whole of this administrations abuses.
All of Bush's "town hall meetings" are pre-screened for Bush supporters only. He cannot be trusted to come up with "answers" for tough questions so he needs a staged venue in order to present himself in a way that Rove would approve of.
He's not intelligent enough to ad-lib a believable lie in real-time so the GOP keeps him in his protective bubble.
That’s why he failed so miserably during the debates despite his alleged earpiece and apparent Rove whisperings. _________________ "You find me offensive? I find you offensive, for finding me offensive" |

you fail to acknoledge those that pull his stings and the one that write his talks, he can't run the whole sho on his own you know not every thing is "his" fault. and he can't posably correct all the mistakes made by everyone else while tring to find favor in your eyes, (like he ever will) if there is one thing i don't like about librals it's that they are singleminded and if it doesn't help their agenda it is worth putting down w/out a second thought. at least i read over what i'm told and try to tink of how it could posably help! if you look for pesamistic things you'll find them in the masses, and if you look beyond the box you have enclosed yourselves in you will also find that wich could be optomism.
unless this entire country librals and conservatives, through away their hadred and pesamistic views of each other and join in the cause of preserving the original constistution that is the original amendments writen by the founding fathers as enterpreted as "they"(not you), ment it to be, and remove all legeslation that even comes near to aposing or even narrowing its effects,(striking out laws and gov. services), if this is not done! within a few more years there will be no more united states! _________________ There is no box w/out walls to look beyond!!! |

No, you're right, he needs people like you to manipulate in to supporting his ridiculous causes.

You're full of it, I'm not being a pessimist, I'm being a realist. Republicans like to cover their eyes and act as if the truth isn't out there waiting to expose them. Unfortunately for you, facts aren't always pleasant, that doesn't mean that they should be ignored.
Republicans like to:
1) Pretend that our economy is good and the dollar is strong.
2) Pretend that all is going well in Iraq.
3) Pretend that no civilians are being murdered in Iraq.
4) Pretend that Bush actually won the election and was served a popular mandate.
5) Pretend that Bush actually cares about the environment because he has a "ranch".
6) Pretend that Bush actually cares about educating our children and helping the poor.
The list could be longer but I haven’t got all day.
Your version of being optimistic requires living a lie.
quote: preserving the original constistution
Are you kidding me? Bush is basically scrapping the constitution and re-writing it as he goes along. Using the clever disguise of "national security" all of our rights are being stripped away. Democrats have been voicing their concerns over this while republicans tout the insidious “Patriot Act".
quote: within a few more years there will be no more united states!
Thanks to Bush's open border policy and his willingness to sell us out in the trade war. _________________ "You find me offensive? I find you offensive, for finding me offensive" |
