I'm sorry to hear that, seeker. Sometimes people become a significant part of our lives, even though we don't know them personally. I know music is important to you, seeker. Please accept my condolences in the loss of Mr. Harrison.

Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun, and I say, it's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun, and I say, it's all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun, and I say, it's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes, sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes, sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right, Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun
It's all right, it's all right |

My favorite too, though I never saw any of them in concert. I met Ringo once in Houston at a club in 1997 after a concert w/the Traveling Wilberrys (correction, it was Ringos Travelling All-Stars)... Didn't know that George also co-wrote Ringos' "Photograph".
Very sad. But he's in Rock 'n Roll heaven now, that's for sure.
My favorites by George Harrison; "What is Life?" &
"All Things Must Pass" (very appropriate for today)
... and this one ("From Behind That Locked Door" - 1970):
Lyrics:
Why are you still crying?
Your pain is now through
Please forget those teardrops
Let me take them from you
The love you are blessed with
This world's waiting for
So let out your heart, please, please
From behind that locked door
It's time we start smiling
What else should we do?
With only this short time
I'm gonna be here with you
And the tales you have taught me
From the things that you saw
Makes me want out your heart, please, please
From behind that locked door
And if ever my love goes
If I'm rich or I'm poor
Please let out my heart, please, please
From behind that locked door
From behind that locked door
*******************************************
Rest in Peace, George! Say hello to my Dad and my brother.... and John!

I'm kind of surprised at how sad I've been today. Listened to all kinds of Beatles midis this afternoon. Thank you, George, for what you've given us.

I remember wearing a black arm band to school when lennon was shot...alot asked me what it was for back then... but we all recognize what a loss this is, this time because it reflects on our own soon to be mortality....
This lyric : Little things that will change you forever May appear from way out of the blue is possibly one of the most powerful lyrics I ever read...
Out of all of Harrison's songs "this is love" is my true favorite although the below is seemingly simple in nature it says so much more...as the writer did in his life and philosophy.....
Precious words drift away from their meaning And the sun melts the chill from our lives Helping us all to remember what we came here for This is love, this is la la la-la love This is love, this is la la la-la love
Little things that will change you forever
May appear from way out of the blue
Making fools of ev'rybody who don't understand
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
Since our problems have been our own creation
They also can be overcome
When we use the power provided free to everyone
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
Oh, this is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love (repeat and fade)
original thought is disappearing daily, happiness and continuation thereof depends on us
T/S

Harrison recorded a secret last album
MAURICE CHITTENDEN
A LAST album of George Harrison’s music was being finished in secrecy in the months before his death. He played tracks from the CD to his family and friends in his private room at a Los Angeles hospital last Sunday, four days before he died.
