Come on, I'm not laughing with you, I'm really laughing at you. I thought I explained that one pretty well already: I said it was like a "time lapse" photo because the contrails show the path the planes have taken over a period of time.
Let's review for the class:
The picture was taken in an instant. The trails were made over a period of time, not instantaneously. The trails, then, were made over a period of time. Since they are persistent, they show the "passage of time" because you can look at them and see the path the planes took that made them. Judging by the length of the trails, I can say that some of them took about 10-15 minutes to create. Thus, this picture shows a 10-15 minute history of several aircraft's flight paths.
Clear as mud?
Only an idiot would think that picture is really a time-lapse shot, since the time the picture was taken is marked clearly in the photo. Also, it would be a pretty blurry photo because the clouds would move quite a bit as the shutter remained open. Of course, one might say that only an idiot would still think that I claim it is a time-lapse shot.

Thanks for attempting to clear up your position on the SAT photo, as well. Except that you were telling people to think of it 'as a time-lapse photo'. I think everyone here is quite-familiar with the dynamics of these persistant 'contrails' so using some sort of cumbersome analogy to explain the obvious doesn't quite wash. You really are becoming quite a flim-flam artist in your own right, Mav. Must be that fruitloop Cydoniapest is starting to rub off on you... so to speak.

This thing in Afghanistan could turn on us in big way, though. If Dubya doesn't get it figured out, and a new set of corporate interests gets into the White House before the ink dries, he may yet fail. The markets seem to think he'll be successful, though. Gas prices are plummeting for a reason.

It is blindingly apparent that Topscum is serving a mutifaceted purpose here on this board. He is both debunking chemtrails, and also keeping all of the people who are most effective at exposing lies, busy as hell arguing, and wasting time on his sorry, pathetic, sell out, traitorous ass.
