Iraqi security forces allegedly caught terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi but released him because they did not realise who he was.

Deputy Interior Minister Hussein Kamal said on Thursday that the Jordanian-born leader of al-Q'aida in Iraq was in custody some time last year, but he would not provide further details, CNN reported.

Whose ever imagination it was, it was a very calculated, pre-meditated figment that's for sure.

There used to be this game at the arcade called "Whack-A-Mole" or something like that where you'd have this big hammer thing and the objective was to hit the gophers on the head whenever they popped up randomly in different spots. Just as soon as you hit one, it'd retreat and pop up again somewhere else endlessly until of course "game over". That game is so symbolic of the elusive file-names like Zarqawi, Bin Laden & others that just never seem to go away. You can never catch them, yet they're always right there waiting for you. Such a sadistic game they play with our minds. Time to put this game on "tilt".
