Database anyone?? PostTue Jan 08, 2002 1:30 am  Reply with quote

I have an idea, and I was wondering if anyone has already done this in the past.

I was thinking of creating a chemtrail tracking database, and hosting it on the internet. It would provide a central repository to report chemtrails, and eventually reporting and analysis tools could be developed to analyze all the data collected and attempt to see patterns in chemtrail activity.

I realize FLKook made a map and put pins on the map, but it was completely reliant on users to post messages in the forum. This database would be a little easier.

It would be a quick form that people fill out:

(form would automatically log today's date and time so it doesn't ask them that)

Required entries on the form would be --

Zip Code:
Persistant trails present today ONLY: (yes/no drop down selection):

Optional entries --
Type of trails (drop down with a few different types of trails):
Weather conditions:
Temperature:
Humidity:
Dewpoint:

This by no means is an all inclusive list on what data we could collect, but the 2 key pieces are where you are located, and do you see chemtrails in the sky on x date?

What do you guys think about doing something like this? I think it would work a lot better then having people post their sitings, because it would be less effort for them to go to a quick web page each day they remember, and enter their findings...

A very good suggestion SDCADJ! I think it's important to included Relative Humidity readings at various (flight) altitudes as 3T3 has pointed out.

Sounds like a good idea proposed here. I have a few questions...

Where do we go to find the information about relative humidity at the different altitudes and also the dewpoint? Are these things found in a newspaper? Or is there a web site?

Hi Catnip,

Right here...
http://adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov/projects/adds/flight_path/

Check for altitudes
100 = 10,000'
140 = 14,000'
200 = 20,000'
240 = 24,000'
300 = 30,000'
340 = 34,000'
400 = 40,000'
440 = 44,000'

Contrails are not supposed to form at lower readings (such as 38% witnessed one day here in Kelowna)...I think it's below 60%.

Great, Mark, where's the data at so I can look at it?

I believe there is a constant need to keep this data. I mean, imagine, tomorrow, if congress decides they want to hold hearings on it (which we all know is not gonna happen, but we can all HOPE!!).. So, if we have some data on this stuff, kept over an extended period of time, not just a month or two, then it is definately going to help make for a stronger case..

Maybe it's a stupid idea, but it doesn't hurt to keep information.... Information is power if you ask me!

Hey SDCADJ,
I used to travel to Pagosa Springs every month. I can remember the smell of sulphur on the main street right at the curve! Well Montrose is getting hit hard alot lately. Today though you could see for miles. But there was hardly any aircraft activity. Great idea! Hey another thought if you could, check each city being hit, or is it a rural area then check the jet streams if possible. Winter storms usually travel west to east. Maybe they are riding the currents to reach particular areas.

Update: I am going to do the database as soon as I have my moving situation in order. I am going to host it on my own PC, and I am already planning on getting SDSL so I can host my own web sites since I have several other projects.. I am just waiting to see where I move in March, because my lease is up, and I am not sure if I am staying or going somewhere else (mainly depends on if they will give me a good deal on renewal or not)... So I'll be working on it then. At that time, I will also have bandwidth and space available to donate to this cause for other things people might need hosting for.
