It just never ends...I remember our meteorology class in flight school, that was 81-82, and the mention of lenticular clouds was an afterthought....and they formed anywhere from 2 to 20 miles downwind of a ridgeline or series of peaks...."if you see a lenticular cloud, be prepared for turbulent air on the downwind side of the line of mountains". So how do these meteorologists just sit there silently without raising their hand, "uh, excuse me but this is a new phenom we've got here." But no, there's only us.
