The following is what happens when grass-roots
movements are
built on a basis of denial and half-truths. Lack of
credibility and ultimately defeat at the hands of
cynics and fools.
We do not have to tolerate it.
The aristocratic eccentric British climate change
contrarian
Christopher Monckton has issued Al Gore with a public
challenge to debate.
It looks as if Gore is going to ignore the challenge.
The activist site DeSmogBlog defends the ignoring
strategy, or rather absence of strategy.

I have already tried to challenge DeSmogBlog over this
lack of seriousness. Do these people deserve to lead
the climate change movement?

Let’s call this character’s bluff and refuse to follow
the lead of the losers who are running the climate
change movement.
Let’s ask Rosalind Peterson to publicly accept
Monckton’s challenge to Al Gore and debate him on his
assertion that climate change is not a crisis.

The climate change contrarians are politicians and
have to be outwitted and checkmated by politicians.
This is not a job just for scientists, or for Al Gore,
who cannot lead us politically.
The international political leader of the climate change movement is Rosalind Peterson, not Al Gore. This fact has to be got into the thick skull of this Monckton and all who are rooting for him. |
