LOS ANGELES BECOMING DUST BOWL OF '06 UNDER DAILY SPRAYING

As Orange County neighborhoods burn, RED FLAG warnings remain over all of Southern California. THERE IS NO RAIN IN SIGHT! February is the wettest month for SoCal and if it doesn't rain at this time, rain most likely won't come.
The only constant is the daily spraying. Residents watched monday as a single plane started over the southeastern horizon and from a single source a seemingly innoculous white trail spread out and in minutes the sky was clouded in a milky, lacey cloud. This is a daily occurence. In neighboring Arizona, Phoenix hasn't had rain in almost six months.
Remember, this is the great desert southwest. The water here is pumped here from other places. There isn't enough water in the whole U.S. to water all of the Southwest.
All we can do is watch the shies and pray and wait. |
