When and how did you hear about 'chemtrails'?

Every few days I look up and see planes that criss cross the city all day long. They leave long streaks as if they are spraying, or letting out steam.
I have been told that these are used for tracking the wind, and thats its flour - like stunt pilots use. I dont buy that - is this called cloud seeding? These planes also are flying very high and make no sound as opposed to a airliner.
I have seen these for years, and they seem to make an arc then they return roughly over the same pattern, this eliminates commerical flights in my opinion. Whos got that answer?

I FIRST READ ABOUT CHEMTRAILS IN NEXUS MAGAZINE. THE ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN ABOUT
10 YEARS AGO.
"LOVELY" WEATHER HERE IN INDY!!?
THE GOVT IS DOING A PRETTY GOOD JOB IN CLIMATE CONTROL.
(give or take a year on the date!)
