Great pics, Greenman, this is the first chance I've gotten to see them. I have mixed feelings about CT's... of course I hate seeing them up there and thinking about what's raining down, but I also can appreciate the beauty in a lot of these pictures. Thanks for posting! |

Thanks. I enjoy your photos also. Its astonishing how drastically the atmosphere has been altered. The clouds now take on bizarre shapes that defy common sense & physics. Someone posted noaa archive, older photos of natural cloud formations. Its heartbreaking , remembering the way clouds are supposed to look, and seeing the abominations they have become. |

I agree. There is something affecting cloud formation, and the way they move through the atmosphere that defies natural explanation. Obviously, there's still natural elements creating cloud formation, water vapor, dust particles etc, but its evident theres other factors reacting with, and likely changing the chemical composition of the natural clouds to create the strange formations that are now common. Whether its being primarily caused by the aircraft emissions, or electromagnectic manipulation of the ionsphere, or both factors equally is something i'd like to know for sure. |

THIS IS NOT NORMAL JET ACTIVITY. Jet fuel for all commercial jets, at least in the US was heavily regulated to burn clear, just like cars back in the 70's.
Thanks for the link to the Cloud Appreciation webiste FWO. Some truly amazing pictures. I am overwhelmed by the fact that this spraying is all over the world - incredible really. No doubt they were doing it earlier, just not on this scale. Today, total whiteout of the sky, trails everywhere since early morning.
Found this picture from NOAA, 1962 of a square cloud bringing tornadoes and hail storms to Oklahoma.
Among the most famous of early satellite weather photographs. This image showed an apparently square cloud and a cloud system which enlarged bringing hailstones and tornadoes to central Oklahoma. A TIROS I image.
