Trail Research Report PostFri Mar 16, 2001 4:34 am  Reply with quote

For several months I have been studying contrail science and examining the trails seen in the skies of Houston using Flight Explorer and atmospheric soundings. The following report is the results of that research...

Thermit, it has taken me a while to get up off the floor, where I fell in a helpless fit of laughing. That you have taken the flunkeys' very best toy, Flight Explorer, and used it to irrefutably shoot down their overlords' planes, is by lightyears the most sheerly charming event in chemtrail history so far. I salute you for a magnificently scientific and incidentally deeply amusing piece of work.

Somehow I get the feeling that was an endorsement Mark could've done without Sedona. (no offense)

I don't get the impression that Mark's motivations for using Flight Explorer are so vindictive and petty for the purpose of just getting back at some "flunkies"...as you seem to be suggesting Sedona (correct me if I'm wrong Mark).

I think he's shown that this is an invaluable tool for identifying the spray planes by what doesn't show up on Flight Explorer.

I never understood the idea that Flight Explorer somehow proved chemtrails don't exist, when the very planes that one would expect to be spraying (military planes) do not show up on the software!

By identifying the planes that produce the persistent contrails as the ones that do not show up on Flight Explorer, Mark has shown the value of the tool in demonstrating (in a reverse sense) that military aircraft are most probably the ones doing the spraying.

This doesn't strike me as rolling-on-the-floor, bust-a-gut funny......just a good example of deductive reasoning and good common sense.

Thermit, this is an excellent, comprehensive, meticulous report. Your data are well-supported by your consistent, disciplined use of several quantification and documentation methods. And this study is reproducible, perhaps the most important factor of all. Anyone can take what you have done and apply it to study of their own area.

Thank you for doing this. I'm sure it represents a major investment of your time and energy. Congratulations on a magnificent job.

Thank You for alerting me and letting me examine your research. Even with
all that work you have put into it, everyone is still in the same situation
as before.... No Real Answers! Possibly No Real Scare! Definitely something
that has become more observed in recent years and will probably be in the
immediate future. We shall see. Same skies round the Jersey way but I have
made myself very busy with making money so I have little time anymore and
like I said on your board, seems there is waaaaaayyy to much paranoia
surrounding the whole thing. It had drawn in all the nuts. I may be into
lots of whacky things but I approach things fairly rationally. I try
anyway... Mario The Bong Hits Not-See...

Mark,

This (next to NASA) is the most comprehensive independent study on contrails
I have ever seen...

It is obvious the time and dedication you have put into this study, which is
commendable.

Surely this will be talked about for sometime, and hopefully repeated....
clearly as participation by independents in aerosol research has been
limited at best, the bar has been lifted and a new standard has emerged in
the "chemtrail phenom"....

Well done Mark !

Thermit,

Thank you! for sending this. You certainly have gone to alot of trouble and I can only imagine the amount of time you dedicated to this research and sumarization.

Although I have a "full plate" to deal with the next several days, I will try to take some time to read it and digest it. And I most likely will give it a page on my website with my "open letter to Thermit." I am curious as to what your "next step" will be in order to confirm the sources and if your research will be ongoing.

Regardless, you are to be commended for such an effort! I know it would take me months to summarize and graph the data I have collected in such a way.

My Dear Mr. Thermit:

Thank you for mailing me a copy of your report. My preliminary reading of it shows that you have taken a sound approach, and have done an excellent job of data-gathering and research. A single study such as yours is worth more than a thousand examples of anecdotal comments, and I commend you highly for your efforts.

I have already printed out your report, and, since I will be imprisoned on a (hopefully non-chemtrail) MD-11 for twelve hours tomorrow, I plan on reviewing the copy very carefully.

Since I will be out of the country for the next seven weeks, I will not be able to respond to any follow-up information directed to my home e-mail at duncan.kunz@prodigy.net. However, if you have any follow-up data that you'd like me to see, feel free to contact me via my laptop at duncan.z.kunz@boeing.com. I will forward to your e-mail any comments and critiques I may have.

Again, thank you for sharing your excellent study with me.

Regards,

Duncan Kunz

cydoniaquest, you completely and doubtless deliberately misunderstood what I said, as you unfailingly like to do. If you read carefully- can you manage that?- you will see that my laughter is based on the effects and not the motivation. Can you handle that, whoever you are? No? Tsk tsk. Too bad.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I certainly hope that this research provides some quantifiable, objective and repeatable research upon which to further our collective research. This morning as I was headed to work, the sky was perfectly clear, it is now noon and, as I write this, we are approaching whiteout conditions with cirrus aviaticus in every direction. Today, I've seen two planes leaving highly persistent trails flying in close formation, two planes leaving highly persistent trails intersecting at the exact middle of a classic "X" with one of the planes afterwards instantly reverting to a typical contrail, and a large colorful sunring. But, as Mr. Kunz rightly points out, the research and report are much more valuable than anecdotal observations, because of the quantified data and framework for repitition of the reseach by others. I am most pleased to be able to share my research and will be happy to provide what additional information I can to anyone interested in repeating any aspect of the research. A very intriguing possibility, which has also been proposed by Mr. Reynolds, is utilizing Flight Explorer and a powerful camera to capture shots of the unidentifiable planes that leave the highly persistent trails so as to indentify the type of jets responsible.

Great work Thermit, the amount of time and energy spent on this shows your true dedication to the cause. Bravo!!
I like the idea of flight expl. and the camera.
The weather here is approaching "white-out" conditions also. Blue skies in the morning and then the assault. The same thing happened on 03-14-01.

Here is a question I would like to get some feed back on, please.
Would it be possible, for whatever reason, to place a layer of none disappating cloud cover completly around the globe???

Or, a layer that would act as a "raft" that could be placed anywhere it was wanted for whatever purpose?

After at over two years of spraying, we now have this "white out" condition. And,I might add, this "white out" happens very rapidly, with seemingly less aircraft involved.

Could this be the result of the cumulative action of the continued spraying. If this stuff does not dissapate, then I assume that it stays in the atmosphere. I thank you for any input.

I understood completely Sedona....but either way, I believe that falling-on-the-floor laughter is a somewhat insulting response to all the work Mark has put into his study and points to a vindictive nature. You said: "I salute you for a magnificently scientific and incidentally deeply amusing piece of work."

I just had a problem with the "deeply amusing piece of work" part....because I don't think it was Mark's intention to be "deeply amusing".

I realize that you are not saying that you are laughing at the report, but at the idea that Mark used the very tool that debunkers use to disprove chemtrails to prove chemtrails. I realized this when I made my comments......no need for clarification Sedona.

As you may know, I had heated run-ins with the chief advocate of Flight Explorer.....(our housewife from Indiana)herself and I too became irritated with the way debunkers mindlessly hide behind the tool every time a point is made or their logic challenged.

I understand the sense of irony here (Mark using the debunkers favorite tool to prove chemtrails), but I just wanted to point out that I don't think Mark's intent was to be vindictive.....to counter the implication left by your original comments. (It seems to me, you left this implication whether you intended to or not).

THERMIT

WOW! WOW! WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! WOW !
Like sedona, I to am on the floor (but I am not laughing) instead I am blown away by the amount of work you have done and how you presented it all. It will take me all weekend just to read it and quite a bit longer to absorb it all
BrAVO

Re: Photo: Houston, 3/16/01 taken by Lorie Kramer - that is an excellent composite image - nice job. And it's exactly what the sky looked like up here in Boston by 3:00pm this afternoon. This was the second day this week that a completely clear morning sky [a very rare thing to begin with around here anymore] was obliterated by mid-afternoon.
