Damn are jets naturally occuring? They must be, since vapor trails occure naturally, and they are formed by jets, hence jest must be a natural occuring phenomina, and the wright brothers thought they were smart.

As reseach that is published on this site (http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/disinfo.shtml) indicate contrails can least for a long time (there is no upper bound given)

What spikey says is true, in the end a blanket of clouds will reflect more heat then it traps, some smaller and larger ice ages were caused by volcanic eruptions so large that the whole planet was covered by a blanket of, what we now call, greenhouse gasses (see for instance http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v359/n6390/abs/359050a0.html about the volcanic winter following the Toba supper eruption, or

Even if they would be trapping warmth (which is thus as indicated above not true) this would melt polar ice caps and upset the golf streams, causing an ice age in the most of Europe and north north America (see for instance http://www.envsci.rutgers.edu/~veron/Rahmstorf_1997.pdf)

The study of clouds, where they occur, and their characteristics, play a key role in the understanding of climate change. Low, thick clouds primarily reflect solar radiation and cool the surface of the Earth. High, thin clouds primarily transmit incoming solar radiation; at the same time, they trap some of the outgoing infrared radiation emitted by the Earth and radiate it back downward, thereby warming the surface of the Earth. Whether a given cloud will heat or cool the surface depends on several factors, including the cloud's altitude, its size, and the make-up of the particles that form the cloud. The balance between the cooling and warming actions of clouds is very close although, overall, averaging the effects of all the clouds around the globe, cooling predominates.
The Earth's climate system constantly adjusts in a way that tends toward maintaining a balance between the energy that reaches the Earth from the sun and the energy that goes from Earth back out to space. Scientists refer to this as Earth's "radiation budget." The components of the Earth system that are important to the radiation budget are the planet's surface, atmosphere, and clouds. The energy coming from the sun to the Earth's surface is called solar energy. Most of it is in the form of radiation from the "visible" wavelengths, i.e., those responsible for the light detected by our eyes. Visible radiation and radiation with shorter wavelengths, such as ultraviolet radiation are labeled "shortwave." Both the amount of energy and the wavelengths at which energy is emitted by any system are controlled by the average temperature of the system's radiating surfaces, plus the emission properties. The temperature of the sun's radiating surface, or photosphere, is more than 5500°C (9900°F). However, not all of the sun's energy comes to Earth. The sun's energy is emitted in all directions, with only a small fraction being in the direction of the Earth.

As explained above, the high thin cirrus clouds tend to enhance the heating effect, and low thick stratocumulus clouds have the opposite effect, while deep convective clouds are neutral. The overall effect of all clouds together is that the Earth's surface is cooler than it would be if the atmosphere had no clouds.

So now add hundreds of thousands of man made persistent contrails/chemtrails to this very delicate balance and we can better understand how this can have a devastating impact on the ecosystem. Newer jet engines are both quiter and less polluting these days and emit a much larger percentage of water vapor than older jet engines thus we are seeing more and more persistent chemtrails/contrails which is deviating the normal checks and balances that allows nature to keep things in balance. That might in part explain why we are seeing so many changes in what used to be normal weather patterns.

In fact, so little is known about the clouds produced by aircraft exhaust that researchers cannot say whether, on balance, they cool or warm the climate. The uncertainty exists because high-altitude clouds have numerous and contrary effects. Contrails and cirrus help cool the globe by reflecting sunlight that would otherwise hit Earth's surface. At the same time, they exert a warming influence because they absorb infrared radiation emitted by the ground, thus trapping energy and heating the atmosphere.

To many board members facts are only facts when they agree with what they believe (a.k.a. they support their claims), when this is not the case it is labeled as MISINFORMATION
Even research about contrails (how the persistent and grow), dating back to 1953, is brushed aside. Odd since Chemtrails did not exist yet so why would misinformation all ready be spraid? Does the government have a time machine to change these journals? I think not

I can only part agree to your last post, if jets are more efficient, then there is less water vapour than before and you get more miles per gallon so to speak.
What is different is the NUMBER of jets flying since the early 1990s. This is set to double by 2020, currenlty about 1 million commercial flights a day take place.
Also, modern jets fly HIGHER than ever to improve effiency, this MAY have serious consquences on the weather but its too early to tell.
More jets and flying higher may affect the weather, in fact it DOES affect the weather, but whether its better or worse only time will tell.
None of the above means chemtrails exist.
So to summarise, whether the weather is better or whether the weather is worse - or whatever the weather, time will tell !  |
