On January 23, Kucinich withdrew his bill, and re-introduced it as HR 3616. All references to "chemtrails" were removed.

What's rather ironic is that the bill had already been changed and all the references to "chemtrails" scrubbed, the day before the article in "Columbus Alive" came out!

We could do a lot worse than Ohio's Dennis K. for president. But it'll never happen without REAL campaign finance reform.

Senator John Glenn is also from Ohio!! TPTS also tried to kill his attempts to end Non-consensual Human Experimentation in the U.S. when he introduced that bill, but he's still alive too, (even revealing the existence of ET's without government approval?)! What is it with Ohio? It seems we've got some real American heroes to support here! Let's not let'em down!!

We (or should I say "I"), tend to think that just because the mainstream media ignores chemtrails, assassinations, non-consensual human experimentation and countless other conspiracies that all hope is lost. In fact, this doesn't mean that powerful forces aren't at work to expose them and bring them to justice! The bad guys rely on apathy, among other things, to keep us in the dark.

Dennis K. and John Glen are only the tip of the iceberg. The Powers That Suck are crumbling before our very eyes thanks to people like this!

Geez, Lulu, don't shoot the messenger!

You notice that, once you get past the invective, no one said that my comments were false. I suppose RidesThe Wind was upset because I burst her bubble or something, but I assume, since Getting At The Real Truth is important in here, she would've at least thanked me for giving her information I thought everyone already had.

I don't know if you would rather that your posters here would remain the dark about Kucinich; if you want them that way, of course, that's your call.

But the news of Kucinich using all the greens and conspiracy folks to get himself a lot of attention, then dropping them like a rock when they've done so, is hardly news. Even carneycom had a special section called "act of dishonor" where he shows how cynical Dennis the Menace really was.

Face it, Lulu, Kucinich has no more interest in chemtrails than I do of marrying Delphi and honeymooning in Afghanistan. You were used, period. I'm sorry if I burst RidesThe Wind's bubble, but sometimes the truth hurts.

And by the way, I don't get any more of a raise from the government than you do in commission from the orgone-machine and silver-water manufacturers for pointing people their way!

All of the money for Deb's and my latest raise was from secret budget #14(a), which was used completely up in bribing Kucinich to set the whole thing up and to buy new gas masks for our families down in the Secret Hideouts. All I get for chasing people away now is a toaster for the first five deserters, a crock-pot for the next five, and a set of Ginsu Knives when I reach fifteen.

It's not fun being a Secret Spy for The Powers That Poison any more....

Welcome to the club RTW. Most of the people posting here on a regular basis are the same few. Most new folks quickly tire of the same old tactics of debunk em til they puke.

That seems to be their MO, David. That's why they keep doing it. It works. If nothing else, they can scare off some of the casual observers, and maybe some that are more interested, and some that are just plain tired of having to put up with the 'con-trail artists'. So, they decide to forget about it and go back to the TV, or maybe look for a chemtrail site with less static. Speaking of static & con-trail artists ;

DK, I for one didn't respond to your post, because I rarely read them anymore, but since you brought it up, where did you get this bit of 'information' about Dennis K. having dropped the 'chemtrail' from the bill before an article "Columbus Alive" came out. For that matter, what difference does that make even if it is true?

The fact remains that 'chemtrail' was in the bill and it has now been linked openly to special, classified, esoteric weapons.

Chemtrail Activists, or maybe someone else directly involved, closer to the source of chemtrails, have made enough of an impact to get it some of the notoriety it deserves, outside of 'net forums inhabited by us 'conspiracy folk'. The only thing that's clear is that 'chemtrail' was taken out for some reason. We can only speculate as to why it was taken out.

To me, it's apparent that he had to react to someone in 'authority', as a result of a threat, or even a 'suggestion' that it be removed. Or, he may have done what he'd set out to do, get it into a governmental public forum ... to 'let the cat out of the bag'. That, to me is more likely than your statement that he did it to be elected by what you call 'greens' and 'conspiracy folk'.

defender - never nice to;

* 'con-trail artists'.... best identified as;

* 'ostriches' (they deal with problems by burying their heads in the sand. "Chemtrails? Non-consensual Human Experimentation? Nonsense!").

* and/or 'lemmings' ("Why ask questions?, everything is fine, the government is our friend! just do as you are told and follow the lead lemming [ahem, DK?]...over the cliff!")

Opposition to Star Wars Program Mounts: Space Preservation Act of 2002 Gains Support From Grassroots Organizations

Sandpoint, ID ” Opposition is mounting on Capitol Hill, and in the grassroots, to the costly and risky Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI),better known as Star Wars ”a cornerstone of the Bush
Administration’s military mindset. Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) has advanced legislation that targets the SDI, alternatively called National Missile Defense (NMD), in response to public health and safety concerns. The new bill, the Space Preservation Act of 2002 (H.R.
3616), proposes to ban space-based weapons and terminate research, development, testing, manufacturing, production and deployment of all space-based weapons of the United States.
The term space-based weapon is defined as a device capable of damaging or destroying an
object or person (whether in outer space, in the atmosphere, or on earth) . . . including firing projectiles, detonating explosives, or directing energy sources at objects or people.
Thus far, according to Dr. Carol Rosin, President of the Institute for Cooperation in Space, most of the world’s nations are on record as wanting to ban space-based weapons. On November 29, 2001, the U.N.General Assembly approved by 156-0 votes the basis for a treaty establishing a permanent ban on space-based weapons (Resolution 56/535).
Grass roots activism is spreading rapidly in support of this bill according to Dr. Rosin, who “Military Space” reported was the original political architect of the move to stop the SDI and
ASAT’s (anti-satellite weapons). Two decades of experience as a government watchdog and policy analyst in this field has taught her this bill may be critical for assuring the public’s health and safety.”
The weaponization of space will be prevented with passing H.R. 3616, and the compatible Space Preservation Treaty. We can then safely establish a world cooperative space R&D program for health, education, security and economic growth based on space exploration, space habitation, space hospitals, space industry and commerce, Dr.Rosin said. Even space schools, labs, farms, hotels and resorts in space are being planned for the near future.
Many scientists and space industrialists advocate passage of H.R.3616, for example, to facilitate research and development. For example, many health scientists believe new healing techniques might be developed in zero gravity. Others advocate space developments in pursuit of safer and
cleaner technologies used to solve urgent human problems including worsening environmental pollution.
The pending legislation, H.R. 3616, calls for a ban on all space-based weapons. The broadly defined term weapons in the definition section of an earlier version of the legislation as introduced into the Congressional Record included(i) electronic, psychotronic, or information weapons; (ii) chemtrails; (iii) high altitude ultra low frequency weapons systems; (iv) plasma, electromagnetic, sonic, or ultrasonic weapons; (v) laser weapons systems; (vi) strategic, theater, tactical, or extraterrestrial weapons; and (vii) chemical, biological, environmental, climate, or tectonic weapons. H.R. 3616 maintains the clear intent to ban all space-based weapons, no matter what they may be.
Reflecting growing grassroots concern, one small press has donated $30,000 worth of books entitled Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare (ISBN: 0923550-30-5) to members of Congress and American libraries in support of the bill. The book, written by Harvard-trained health science investigator, Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz, discusses the risks posed by the SDI and failure to pass H.R. 3616.
(See; http://www.deathintheair.com/reviews.html.) While supplies last, in an effort to increase awareness and informed decision-making,
Tetrahedron Publishing Group (www.tetrahedron.org; 1-888-508-4787) is mailing more than 1,000 free copies of the 525-page hardcover to congressional members and acquisition librarians who wish to claim their free books.
Dr. Horowitz believes that H.R. 3616, holds the power to free or enslave humanity depending on how subsequent revisions of the bill are made and voted upon. We need to safeguard against the
use of all space-based weapons, Dr. Horowitz said. This legislation, and the compatible global Space Preservation Treaty, will ban all space-based weapons and this is a vitally important step
needed to protect everyone.
At a time when Bush administration officials are secretly planning to expand nuclear and space-based weapons strategies against nations on their hit list, activists say the importance of this bill is unsurpassed by anything ever considered.

Note to journalists: For more information on this subject, review copies of Dr. Horowitz’s books, or interviews with Dr. Horowitz, please call Jerry Lynn at 1-888-508-4787.

Kucinich strikes again!!!!!!
This man is without a doubt the most enlightened politician of our time.
He really deserves our support! There is a contact address at his website below.

We are Governed by Fear:
An Interview with Congressman Dennis Kucinich
By Scott Galindez
t r u t h o u t | March 14, 2002

TO.SG | Congressman Kucinich welcome to t r u t h o u
t. I recently attended Americans For Democratic
Action's "Our Democracy After 9-11: Can We Save It?"
function in Los Angeles, and listened to you
deliver your "Prayer for America..."

KUCINICH | You were there?

TO.SG | Yes, we posted the transcript on t r u t h o u
t and received an enthusiastic response. It was one
of the most widely read and re-distributed pieces we
have ever published.

KUCINICH | Wow, that's interesting

TO.SG | In that speech in Los Angeles, you described
the bunker mentality in Washington after
September 11th. Could you elaborate a little on that?

KUCINICH | That was even before I knew there were
bunkers. I found out a couple of weeks later that
there actually were bunkers. Members of the
Administration had retreated to bunkers outside
Washington so that they could keep the government
going. The bunker mentality I referred to in my
speech represents the presence of security and police
and national guards, the jersey barriers that are
everywhere, where we have to literally negotiate a
labyrinth of concrete barriers in order to go to vote.
Aesthetically, it is unacceptable, but we're talking
about politically, in terms of a democracy, that's
definitely not the message that you get. This is
architecture worthy of a different form of government,
shall
we say.

TO.SG | And that still exists?

KUCINICH | Oh yes. What it does is -- the level of
security creates a mentality of caution, and an
underlying sense of fear. And when that's there, it
has a way of affecting consciousness, like a virus can
adversely affect a healthy organism. So, when members
vote, you know all of us make decisions that are
affected by the conditions under which we live and
work --and our political, the socio-political reality
at
Capital Hill has been reconstructed. It is a reality
which is socially affirmed. We have circumstances that
are not conducive to healthy decision-making in a
democratic society. In addition to that, members are
not told why. There is no discussion of these things.
It just happens.

TO.SG | Okay. Also, within the last week, the reports
surfaced concerning the contingency plan for using
nuclear weapons against seven countries. Is that a
major policy shift? Some people say it's not a shift,
some say it is.

KUCINICH | Of course it is. It is a major policy shift
because - there are a number of things in the nuclear
posturing here which need reviewing. Number one is the
equation of conventional to nuclear weapons,
and loose talk of a prerogative for a first strike.
There is incautiousness. The report is riddled with a
fundamental incautiousness about the dangers of the
use of nuclear weapons. And the release of the
report - which I have no doubt came from the
Administration itself - was still another attempt to
heighten
the level of fear in the country and make it
impossible for people to be able to make rational
decisions as
to what their own interest might be.

TO.SG | The report also talked about developing new
battlefield nuclear weapons ...

KUCINICH | That is what I'm saying: they're equating
the nuclear weapons with conventional weapons,
which flies in the face of all science, because any
nuclear explosion underground will send out shock
waves, and a nuclear explosion underground can affect
the water table. All nuclear explosions release
debris that goes out into the atmosphere and changes
the ambient air quality. You know this is all
grotesquery, masquerading as serious public policy,
and it's not acceptable, period.

You see, it is one thing to say, "Well, this has
existed in the past," this nuclear posture review --
but that
it would be released in a climate of such turmoil in
the world: of conflict in the Middle East, of the
United
States bombing Afghanistan and planning an invasion of
Iraq, and of the U.S. sending troops to various
countries all over the world -- to inject into that a
miasma, a nuclear threat, a resumption of not just the
Cold War mentality, but the resumption of the
psychology of first strike ...

TO.SG | You proposed legislation for a Department of
Peace.

KUCINICH | Oh yes.

TO.SG | What would the Department of Peace do?

KUCINICH | Well, the purpose of a Department of Peace
and the motivating factors involve a desire to
make nonviolence an organizing principle in our
society for domestic as well as international policy,
and
on an international level to seek to make war archaic.
On a domestic level, to deal with issues such as
child abuse, spousal abuse, domestic violence in the
home, community relations challenges, racial
violence, anything that exemplifies a lack of ability
to deal with human relations, would be dealt with by
the Department of Peace. And it's a cabinet level
position, which would raise the whole issue of
non-violence and conflict resolution to serious level
of discussion in society.

TO.SG | Okay, you also proposed legislation to ban
weapons in space. What's its status and why is it so
important?

KUCINICH | It is very important with an Administration
that wants to use space as the next platform for its
weapons, so that America can achieve hegemony in
space. You know, it is almost some kind of a 21st
century parody of the Spanish Armada, of yesteryear,
seeking to rule the seas. Now it's the United
States trying to seize the highest ground in the
universe, space. It is not our business to do. There
is no
other nation that has the capacity to mount an attack
against the United States from space. So, what's
this about? Perhaps some crude attempt at -- using
space as the next junkyard for military contractors.

TO.SG | What can readers do to help take the country
back?

KUCINICH | That is exactly the right question. The
response to my speech has been just electrifying. I
have had over 15,000 emails in the last three weeks,
and they are just pouring into my personal email. I
mean, it's just like one of those personal emails like
you get your friends to send things to, and all of
sudden it starts to get flooded.

So, we are organizing a whole new approach to create a
new political movement in this country. If you
want to keep your eyes at our site,-- which is www.thespiritoffreedom.com -- we are going to be
putting
stuff on the website that talks about organizing. So
we are going to help people get organized all around
the country in a nonviolent way, in a creative way, in
a way which is empowering to people, and which
can help people assert their own basic rights as
citizens of this country and as citizens of the world,
because this is not just about America.

Peace is in our national interest. International
cooperation is in our national interest. We need to
have
grand civic dialogue about what we might be able to do
here to change the direction of the nation. It
certainly needs change. We can spend an extra
forty-five billion dollars this year for military when
they
can't even keep track of their own budget, and still
we have forty-two million people without adequate
health insurance, senior citizens splitting pills in
order to try to meet their health requirements and
still
protect their budget. We have schools that are still
falling apart with programs that don't work. We have
so much to do. Yet, society is becoming militarized.

People want change. The fifteen thousand emails in the
last three weeks told me that people want a
different direction. I think they are representative
of millions of Americans who want to take a different
approach. They don't want to be trapped into a
condition that the level of support for war is equated
with
patriotism.

National Missile Defense: Blowing The Whistle On Bad
Science
Filed March 14, 2002

It's the biggest comeback of the millennium to date:
nuclear weapons.

Only this isn't your parents' nuclear winter. It's a
whole new one, as is made clear in a classified
Pentagon report leaked last week detailing the Bush
administration's willingness to significantly lower
the
threshold for going nuclear. Apparently the bar has
now been set at "in the event of surprising military
developments." But as recent events in the Shah-i-Kot
Valley proved, there are rarely any other kind. So
this pretty much means "at the will of the president."

Last week also saw the release of a report from the
General Accounting Office (GAO) that details how
the Pentagon, two major military contractors, TRW and
Boeing, and a team of high-powered MIT
scientists fabricated the success of the nation's
first missile defense test -- turning an embarrassing
failure into a phony triumph.

As attention grabbing as this sounds, the report is
not really news to anyone who has been following the
case of Dr. Nira Schwartz and the United States
Government vs. TRW and Boeing.

Schwartz, a scientist and computer expert, was hired
in 1995 by TRW to test the key component of the
missile defense system: the ability of our missiles
(charmingly known as "kill vehicles") to discriminate
between incoming enemy warheads and harmless decoys.
She soon discovered that the technology
being used was fatally flawed.

Alarmed by her findings, she approached her boss,
Robert Hughes, and insisted that TRW reveal the
problem to the Pentagon. When she was rebuffed,
Schwartz sent a letter to the company warning: "If you
will not notify the U.S. government, then I will." She
was fired the next day.

Two months later, Schwartz sued TRW on behalf of the
U.S. government under the False Claims Act,
asserting that the defense contractor had knowingly
defrauded the American people. In the six years it
has taken the case to work its way through a legal
maze, on-going tests, including the $100 million
debacle highlighted in the GAO report, have only
confirmed Schwartz's findings.

By any yardstick, this is a shocking story, affecting
both our national security and the nation's fiscal
health. According to a recent estimate by the
Congressional Budget Office, the price tag for a
missile
defense system would be over $230 billion. Worse, by
sacrificing the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty on the
altar of a missile defense shield that has been proven
not to work, we are ushering in a new era of nuclear
proliferation that will make the world a far more
dangerous place.

Rep. Howard Berman (D-CA), who requested the GAO
report on TRW, makes it clear that he has no
"theological problem" with a missile defense shield.
"If you can prove to me," he told me, "that we can
build a system capable of intercepting missiles from
rogue nations, and that it will not bring with it the
consequence of restarting an arms race, then I'm open
to it. But the report raises way too many
questions about concealment and fundamental flaws in
the technology."

It's not like the information about test failures and
fraud has been flying under the radar. After a judge
finally unsealed Schwartz's suit, the story ended up
on the front page of the New York Times in March
2000, followed by a Dan Rather interview with Schwartz
on CBS.

So the question becomes: Why is the national missile
shield as seemingly unstoppable as the missiles
it purports to destroy? And what will it take for this
story to penetrate Washington's defenses against
critical information affecting national policy?

"The government's system of checks and balances has
badly failed at every level throughout this
process," missile defense expert and MIT professor Ted
Postol told me. "What it's going to take now is
stirring the public imagination and outrage." Perhaps
it will take dramatizing Nira Schwartz's story and
turning her into the Erin Brockovich of the nuclear
arms debate.

When I first talked with Dr. Schwartz on the phone, it
was hard to picture her as the heroine in a David vs.
Goliath struggle against the military-industrial
complex. She speaks haltingly in a soft, thickly
accented
voice (she emigrated from Israel in 1984). But as she
continued to tell her story, her words filled with
passion, patriotism and integrity, it became clear
that this is a woman on a moral mission.

"As an adopted citizen of this beautiful country," she
told me, "I would do anything to be able to protect
what I love so dearly. But we've wasted a decade, and
billions of dollars, in a quest for a missile defense
shield based on a technology that will never work."

Her commitment to exposing the truth has come at a
high price. A gifted scientist with a Ph.D. in
physics and engineering, and the holder of 24 United
States patents, Schwartz has found herself
effectively blackballed since filing her suit --
unable to land a job in her field despite having sent
out over
300 resumes.

It's a disturbing precedent -- especially given the
Bush administration's obsession with secrecy, and our
elected representatives' unwillingness to take on a
popular wartime president, lest they be branded
traitors. In this kind of political climate, we need
courageous whistle blowers like Nira Schwartz more
than ever.

"She is definitely a hero," Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA), who
has requested a Congressional hearing on this
issue, told me. "She's like a 21st Century Paul Revere
