I've got a P.S. for Nirvana. Someone is sending viruses with your name all over it. They're calling it the Nirvana files. Do Not Open Attachments!

Ahhh, somebody out there is trying to spoil the party! Well, they are going to have to be smarter than that. I have not been sending any emails to list-members today. If the email says nirvana and does not originate from "nirvanafloat@hotmail.com", then hit the delete key. And that means checking for spoofing too; look at the return path in the email header if you suspect a virus. In Outlook you can use file..properties in outlook express, or view..options in outlook.
That Klez/W32 virus is going around quite a bit and uses spoofing.

That's wild about all the calls to King5. Today was a doozie for chemtrails. I suppose I do hold out some hope that our government is doing this stuff for our own good. It would be good if they clued us in.

RE: Virus, I've just been made aware that there may be a nasty email bug going around with my name attached to it too. Do not open, I'm not emailing anyone, will use the personal message service Thermit has provided to reach members here first.

School closed as precaution after girl dies; students had complained of headaches, itchy eyes

By Associated Press, 5/23/2002 18:50

GIG HARBOR, Wash. (AP) A building used by preschoolers and kindergartners at an elementary school was closed Thursday as investigators tried to determine whether there was any connection between the death of a 6-year-old girl and health complaints at the school.

Madison Berggren, a kindergartner at Artondale Elementary School, was hospitalized Wednesday morning when her parents discovered she wasn't breathing. She later died of unexplained causes, said Todd Kelley, spokesman for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Health Center in Tacoma.

''To say this is related to Artondale at this point is incredibly speculative,'' Kelley said, but he called the girl's death ''incredibly troubling.''

An autopsy found no public health threat. Ed Duke, chief investigator for the medical examiner, said further tests will be needed to determine what caused her death.

The girl had a twin sister with a congenital heart defect who died soon after birth, but it was unclear if Madison's death could have been caused by the same type of condition, Duke said.

In a message to parents, school officials said they had no reason to believe Madison's death was related to environmental problems that prompted the school to shut down for a two-month cleanup earlier this year.

As a precaution, though, all half-day kindergarten and preschool classes were canceled until Tuesday, following the Memorial Day holiday.

Madison was a student in a half-day morning kindergarten class that met in the basement until Monday, when it was closed again after students and staff members complained of problems including headaches, itchy eyes, breathing troubles, numbness and tingling.

Most of Artondale's 470 students were transferred to other schools, but the half-day kindergarten and preschool classes remained in a portable building.

The district had spent $400,000 on various repairs at the school during the cleanup in February and March. The school reopened for classes in April after two independent consultants and state health officials determined it was safe.

You don’t have to let tainted email even get near your machine. Download and install MailWasher for the most logical method of screening your incoming email — while it’s still out on your ISP’s mail server. With this software, you can obtain a plain text view of both the header and the body. If you don’t trust it, delete it. If it’s spam and you want to give the impression that the sender has used a bum email address, bounce it. If it’s something you wish to forward on to an ISP’s security or abuse team, copy and paste the display into a brand new email...

“Introducing MailWasher, the easiest way to check and manage your emails before you download them.

MailWasher is a powerful email checker with effective spam elimination. Discover the safe way to stop unwanted viruses and emails before they get to your computer.

No gimmicks here, it is so easy to set up and use that you'll be managing your email like a pro in seconds. It can even be used as an effective privacy tool.

I think you will find this to be the easiest, most effective way to manage your incoming emails. You will be amazed at how quickly you will like using MailWasher.

Best regards

Thanks for bringing this (sad) information to our attention. I am researching correlations between CT activity and mystery illnesses.

It is interesting that even after the $400,000 cleanup of the school that the complaints from students and teachers did not stop, and that people were still experiencing problems. I think it can only point to external sources, airborne in nature. Talking with some of the PA Health Dept people in Bucks County, they never found any antibodies, or any evidence of bacteria or viruses in blood tests.

The respiratory and rash symptoms, the varying intensities of rash, and the sporadic "contamination" of others suggests a chemical such as aluminum oxide, or barium oxide.

Welcome thinkworks_llc.

We have a thread with information concerning Barium Stearate and Aluminum Oxide taken right from their MSDS sheets.

Nasty health effects of Barium Stearate - rash, respiratory, etc. http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001087.html

And I and a few others have been keeping track of all the rash cases as well as the increase of health problems in children in general on this thread.

The Gray Strumpet has put out a long article in its Sunday Magazine describing The Rash suffered by US children as psychosomatic. The general theme of the article is that these rashes are only coming to everyone's attention now because of post-911 hysteria. Curiously, the learned author mentions chemtrails, as an item in a laundry list of conspiracy bugaboos and hobgoblins:

quote:
In another year, schools with rash outbreaks might not have warranted news vans planted in their parking lots for days. In another year, the rashes might not have fueled such florid, conspiratorial discussion on the Internet -- it was ''chemtrails'' from airplanes; it was books on Islam donated to schools by questionable Saudis; it was a terrorist attack coverup -- or engaged the attentions of overworked state health officials for months. The rash outbreaks might not have triggered an investigation by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as these did. Or calls for Congressional hearings, like those demanded by a coalition of environmental organizations led by the Healthy Schools Network. Alarm about rashes might not have brought 1,000 parents out to a meeting with the school superintendent in Quakertown, Pa.

How clever. Chemtrails are now in the NYTimes, presented as somebody's hysterical fantasy, caged in quotation marks, lest anyone mistake them for reality. Or, lest they leap out and become an issue themselves.

Thanks for finding that article herbivore.
I added it to my thread.

BTW, did anyone read about who Margaret Talbot, the writer of the article (I wish I could use a better word for it) was?

You are welcome, Dan. I haven't got a clue who she is. I don't take kindly to calling our efforts at discourse and discovery on an unpopular topic "florid."

I give you CT explorer and frequent-front man Clifford Carnicom as Exhibit A. Has Cliffie ever once in his whole life uttered a single phrase that comes within spitting distance of "florid"???

Accusing our discussions about sick and dead little kids as panicky can have only very short-term results. Maybe she ought to read a few posts on the rash. I only see great restraint, enormous sympathy and concern for the victims. I also note a palpable hunger, expressed mostly in fastidiously polite terms, to find the physical cause of the problem.

In contrast, I note from Ms. T second guessing, to the tune of so many million readers, of the suffering of innocent children and the anguish of their families. For shame
