The album is considered a concept album. In a three part storyline, an abused and apathetic person (represented by "The Worm") becomes an influential rock star and finally transforms into the powerful "Disintegrator". In an issue of Kerrang! magazine edited by Manson, he stated that the album was a tribute to - and inspired by - the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Much of the album content is deliberately vague, allowing listeners to draw independent conclusions.
It has elaborate packaging, consisting of a black cardstock sleeve covering the plastic jewel case with graphics of Manson on both the front and back, the latter of which is flanked by the red Superstar Shock logo and the roman numerals IX, VI, III and VII. The booklet contains pictures of the band, a visual worm-to-angel metamorphosis, symbols related to the Kabbalah, medical diagrams, printed lyrics to each song, and liner notes including traditional thanks and credits as well as a curious entry found under the lyrics to the song "Irresponsible Hate Anthem", stating it was recorded live on February 14, 1997, despite the album being released well before that in October of 1996.

The Most Noble Order of the Garter is an order of chivalry, or knighthood, originating in medieval England, and presently bestowed on recipients in any of the Commonwealth realms; it is the pinnacle of the honours system in the United Kingdom. Membership in the order is limited to the sovereign, the Prince of Wales, and no more than twenty-four members, or Companions; the order also comprises Supernumerary knights and ladies, (e.g. members of the British Royal Family and foreign monarchs).
The order's emblem, depicted on insignia, is a garter with the motto Honi soit qui mal y pense (Old French: "shame upon him who thinks evil of it") in gold lettering. Members of the order wear such a garter on ceremonial occasions.

The Order of the Dragon (Latin Societas Draconistrarum, German Drachenorden, Hungarian Sárkány Lovagrend, Romanian Ordinul Dragonului) was an order of selected nobles modeled on the Order of Saint George of Hungary. The order was founded in 1408 by Emperor Sigismund, King of Hungary, and his second wife Barbara Cilli. The defeated dragon is a symbol of the destruction of heresy.

For their symbol, the Order designed an insignia of a dragon with its tail coiled around its neck; on the back of the dragon, from the base of the neck to the tail, is the Red Cross of Saint George, with the entire image on an argent field. The dragon represented The Scarlet Beast of the Book of Revelation while the red cross represented the victory of Christ over the forces of evil. Given that the Order was a pagan Order, it is not likely this interpretation is correct. The dragon was a positive symbol across Eurasia and represented the 'Opposer' or 'Other God'. The patriarch's staff of the Armenian Church has two dragon heads for its top, going back to the first patriarch. Armenia is filled with "Dragon Stones", large pillars with a bull skin carved on them. A University of Bucharest annotation to the original edict which establishes the Order reads O Quam Misericors est Deus, Pius et Justus, which may be part of the emblem.

Here’s the new bill text – the part that deals directly with telecom immunity is at subtitle (4):
REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATION.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a civil action may not lie or be maintained in a Federal or State court against any person for providing assistance to an element of the intelligence community, and shall be promptly dismissed, if the Attorney General certifies to the district court of the United States in which such action is pending that—
(1) any assistance by that person was provided pursuant to an order of the court established under section 103(a) directing such assistance;
(2) any assistance by that person was provided pursuant to a certification in writing under section 2511(2)(a)(ii)(B) or 2709(b) of title 18, United States Code;
(3) any assistance by that person was provided pursuant to a directive under section 102(a)(4), 105B(e), as added by section 2 of the Protect America Act of 2007 (Public Law 110-55), or 702(h) directing such assistance;
(4) in the case of a covered civil action, the assistance alleged to have been provided by the electronic communication service provider was—
A) in connection with an intelligence activity involving communications that was—
(i) authorized by the President during the period beginning on September 11, 2001, and ending on January 17, 2007; and
(ii) designed to detect or prevent a terrorist attack, or activities in preparation for a terrorist attack, against the United States; and
(B) the subject of a written request or directive, or a series of written requests or directives, from the Attorney General or the head of an element of the intelligence community (or the deputy of such person) to the electronic communication service provider indicating that the activity was—
(i) authorized by the President; and (ii) determined to be lawful; or
(5) the person did not provide the alleged assistance.
Notice that the courts don’t even get to make their own determination as to whether or not the President authorized the telecoms’ involvement. As long as the Attorney General “certifies” that that was the case, the bill directs the courts to dismiss the lawsuits, promptly. As this New York Times article points out, ‘Republican leaders described this narrow court review on the immunity question as a mere “formality.”’

Castillo de San Marcos
Built in 1672 and finished in 1683, the oldest known fort in America. Although the guides will not mention it, the fort was built in the shape of a swastika, the sun symbol. It also has an obelisk, only it is laying down, so the view is from above as is the shape of the fort. At the south entrance, you will see a walkway and at the end is a pyramid or triangle. This is the phallic symbol laying down.
I took some pictures of the canons which went around the perimeter of the fort, and one was inscribed with the name DuPont, as they produced canons for all sides, quite intricate work.
Also, there are "legends" that some very nasty things were done at this fort, like human sacrifice, although the guides poo-poo it. The fort itself has dungeons underneath that are creepy.
I found it interesting that the guides are instructed to make the Spanish Conquistadors look good while the English are bad, because they had pirates steeling the Spanish gold. No mention that the Spanish slaughtered and killed Indians, using them as slave labor to get the gold. Aftter all, some of the Indians joined forces with the Spanish, if you can't beat them, join them.
It was a very interesting place.
