North American Union
Anti-amero coalition needs to tap Prime Minister Steven Harper

Message to activist Phyllis Schlafly, Conservative Caucus Chairman Howard Phillips, WorldNetDaily columnist and author Jerome Corsi and erstwhile leaders of the 50-member strong coalition poised to take the wheels off the North American Union’s (NAU’s) little red wagon: lobby Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper ASAP.
Why?
Harper wasn’t the guy who signed the papers on the NAU at the Waco, Texas summit in 2005, launched by the stealth-styled Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. It was former Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin who signed on to the NAU.
It is highly unlikely that Harper feels the same way Martin does on the formation of the NAU. It is highly unlikely that Harper feels the same way Martin does on most given issues.
Martin, the protégé of environmental guru and United Nations heavy Maurice Strong, was an avid acolyte of the UN and its dreams for one world government. Harper is not.
The anti-amero coalition shouldn’t wait too long to contact the Canadian Prime Minister’s office (PMO). Most folks are in holiday mood and will remain that way until after January 1.
Before heading home for their constituencies for Christmas break, Canada’s fledgling minority government was assessing the threats of the Party Quebecois which has given notice it will try to force an election over Canada’s troops in Afghanistan—a matter the Party will force on to the agenda by mid-February, 2007.
This strategy coincides with the plans of Robert Pastor, identified by WorldNet Daily’s Jerome Corsi as “a leading intellectual force in the move to create an EU-style North American Community”.
Imagine the enormity of Pastor’s having told Corsi that he believes a new 9/11 crisis could be the catalyst to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
What is the United States without sovereignty? Ditto for Canada.
Pastor, a professor at American University, is the Pooh-bah who will someday erase the borders of three separate nations.
“At American University in Washington, D.C., Pastor directs the Center for North American Studies where he teaches a course entitled North America: A Union, A Community, or Just Three Nationals? Pastor is on the board of the North American Forum on Integration, the NAFL, a non-profit organization that annually holds a mock trilateral parliament (emphasis CFP) for 100 selected students drawn from 10 universities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
“Pastor had published an interview in Spanish in the Oct. 24 issue of Poder y Negocios. He told the magazine crises can force decisions that otherwise could not be made.”
Does any of this sound chillingly familiar?
Prime Minister Paul Martin’s lifetime mentor Maurice Strong once mused aloud to a reporter a crisis scenario very much like Pastor’s….”It’s February. They’re (world leaders) all at Davos. These aren’t terrorist. They’re world leaders. They have positioned themselves in the world’s commodities and stock markets. They’ve engineered, using their access to stock markets and computers and gold supplies, a panic. Then, they prevent the world’s stock markets from closing. They jam the gears. They hire mercenaries who hold the rest of the world leaders at Davos as hostage. The markets can’t close…”
All Americans and Canadians who care about their country owe a debt of gratitude to the savvy Corsi, who took the trouble to track Pastor down to affirm that the Spanish interview really represents his thinking.
“What I’m saying is that a crisis is an event which can force democratic governments to make difficult decisions like those that will be required to create a North American Community,” he said. “It’s not that I want another 9/11 crisis, but having a crisis would force decisions that might otherwise not get made.”
Pastor also theorizes on Canada’s already minority government status and Mexico’s soon to be one, emphasizing the United States “lame duck” presidency.
“There are alternatives to a crisis for getting a major decision adopted by the president and by the congress,” Pastor responded. “But what I am saying is that we lack the kind of North American leadership we need. Our founding fathers created a system of governance that was not designed to be efficient but was designed to protect freedom. Therefore, you created checks and balances that did protect freedom but also made it difficult to move forward on important issues.”
Pastor presumes far too much when he would, in effect move on the formation of a North America union to take advantage of two minority governments and what he views as a lame duck president.
Sovereignty belongs to the people and not necessarily their leaders.
Meanwhile, if Schlafly and Company haven’t thought of it already, they should contact Steven Harper, PMO, Ottawa, Ontario- -ASAP.
