spider webs or man-made?

i saw huge amounts of spider webs on the bushes in front of the building i work at. they were very sticky and quite white. they didn't seem like regular spider webs and appeared in just one day.
i am trying to determine if they are regular webs or man-made fabrications. i saw a posting of mark sky's chem webs, but they don't match what i saw. these were more dense.
do the chem webs come in varieties? does anyone have more information on the chemwebs are can you provide me with a site that explores the differences in detail? |

Hi manon,
Nice website you have there. We share many of the same interests I see. As far as the debunkers are concerned there are no chemtrails or chemwebs. As far as finding a site on web (differences) I don't know any off hand, but you could try a Google search. Did you take a picture of these sticky white webs? Did you collect a sample, using gloves I hope, in a sterile glass container? If not could you? |

i will take photos of it late this afternoon, asuming they are still there after the tiny little rain we had in drought-stricken NM.
even if i collected the sample, it seems there is nobody really qualified in the public sector who can verify it's origins for certain. at least, that is the impression i had.
is it easy to post photos in here?

Surely there are some local entomologists that specialize in NM spiders and insects? Have you tried the natural history museums? They could at least tell you if there have been any recent insect hatches (I just had an idea, what about local fly fishermen? They always know what insects are hatching!). |

hey, thanks you guys for the websites (i'll check them out) and also for telling me how to post my photos here...
however, i went to take the photos of the unusual webbing yesterday and the rain had really diminished the effect of it's unusual whiteness and had caused them to recede further into the brush, making them appear more real. but i thought i'd take some pics anyway, but as it was 6:30 in the evening the lighting wasn't good enough to capture anything decent. but i again studied them very closely, and i am certain they are not made by a spider. they don't have the intricate pattern and they are sticky and too white. i did notice some longer, more spread out strands like the one mark sky posted.
this is driving me crazy. even if the spider webs were real, what's strange is that nobody noticed them! one day green bushes, the next day blobs of super-white web patches all over everything -- and nobody noticed until i pointed it out.
people don't notice anything these days. it's creepy.

penumbra, i checked out the links you supplied me. two of mark sky's have recently been deleted. the other i knew about, and one of the threads was really interesting...
all of this stuff reminds me of that movie -- what was it called? -- something like 'day of the bodysnatchers'?
btw, there are little beads in these webs i saw. i thought it was material from the environment that got caught in the web from wind or something, but after reading those links, sounds like they are something else.
i could still get a sampling of the material, but i have no idea who i would give it to in new mexico. besides, i don't want to spend any money. |
