You're right, and even now Germany want to be the ones that use standardised text books for history lessons and all school lessons across all EU states. As if the UK would ever allow that, or will they some day... Imagine the pure propaganda and mind control then, it is still illegal in Germany to educate your own child out of school, unlike the UK where you do not even have to go by the government school curriculum to educate your own children at home if so do choose to. But like you say they have controlled information for centuries and even deceived us with half truth's and lies when it comes to religion, so much so they confuse us so we no longer know fact from fiction and that is one of their favourite weapons, it makes people give up and stop looking for the real truth.
Anyway, the Bible does talk of famine to come and even the richest of the rich not being able to afford food. OR did the elite design it all way back as they have over history to cull mass proportions of the global populace to enable them control and mind control over us.

Wild Bees Reject Genetically Engineered Crop--Potential Major Impact on Pollination

Abstract. The ecological impacts of agriculture are of concern, especially with genetically modified and other intensive, modern cropping systems, yet little is known about effects on wild bee populations and subsequent implications for pollination. Pollination deficit (the difference between potential and actual pollination) and bee abundance were measured in organic, conventional, and herbicide-resistant, genetically modified (GM) canola fields (Brassica napus and B. rapa) in northern Alberta, Canada, in the summer of 2002.
Bee abundance data were collected using pan traps and standardized sweep netting, and pollination deficit was assessed by comparing the number of seeds per fruit from open-pollinated and supplementally pollinated flowers. There was no pollination deficit in organic fields, a moderate pollination deficit in conventional fields, and the greatest pollination deficit in GM fields. Bee abundance was greatest in organic fields, followed by conventional fields, and lowest in GM fields. Overall, there was a strong, positive relationship between bee abundance at sampling locations and reduced pollination deficits. Seed set in B. napus increased with greater bee abundance. Because B. rapa is an obligate outcrossing species, the lack of pollination deficit in the organic (B. rapa) fields likely was due to the high bee abundance rather than a lower dependence of B. rapa on pollinators than B. napus canola. Our study illustrates the importance of wild bees to agricultural production and suggests that some agroecosystems may better sustain wild bee abundance, resulting in greater seed production.
Further research on why some cropping systems, such as genetically modified, herbicide-resistant canola, have low wild bee abundance would be useful for management of agroecosystems to promote sustainability of food production. When Bees Disappear, Will Man Soon Follow?

Last week I received an email from a friend reporting a sudden, devastating collapse in America's bee population. The message triggered an immediate unpleasant shiver through my body as I recalled the ominous quote attributed to Albert Einstein: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years of life left.
No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."
Being a bit skeptical, I assumed this was just another piece of alarmist misinformation finding its way onto Internet distribution lists. A few minutes' research not only confirmed the story, but made me realize that the problem is far from local. In official circles, the condition is called either Fall-Dwindle Disease or, more commonly, Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).
The communication I received stated: "Honeybees are flying off in search of pollen and nectar and simply never returning to their colonies.
During the final three months of 2006, a distressing number of honeybee colonies began to diminish from the United States, and beekeepers all over the country have reported unprecedented losses. According to scientists, the domesticated honeybee population has declined by about 50 percent in the last 50 years. Reports of similar losses to the honeybee population have been documented before in beekeeping literature, but are widely believed to have occurred at this scale previously only at a regional level. With outbreaks recorded as far back as 1896, this is regarded as the first national honeybee epidemic in U.S. history."
The topics grabbing headlines these days leave little room in the news for the plight of an insect. What we fail to appreciate is that without an abundance of bees to pollinate crops, the United States could lose as much as 30 percent of its food supply. According to Zac Browning, vice president of the American Beekeeping Federation, "Every third bite we consume in our diet is dependent on a honeybee to pollinate that food."
There is no doubt about what is happening - or its consequences if the situation is not rectified. What remains murky is the cause. According to Walter Haefeker, director of the German Beekeepers Association, CCD has four possible causes: the varroa mite, introduced from Asia; the widespread practice of spraying wildflowers with herbicides; the practice of monoculture (a single crop covering a large area); and the controversial yet growing use of genetic engineering in agriculture.
However, it is the thinking of one of the cell phone industry's former scientific hired guns that caught my attention. When George Carlo, M.D., the celebrated author of "Cell Phones: Invisible Hazards in the Wireless Age" and current chairman of the nonprofit Science and Public Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., weighs in with an opinion, we'd all be fools not to listen carefully.
On a recent conference call, Dr. Carlo laid the blame for the sudden demise (often within 72 hours) of entire bee colonies on the recent proliferation of electromagnetic waves (EMF). He cited the startling statistic that, at present, there are some 2.5 billion cell phone users around the world. While this (plus the explosive growth of cell phone towers) used to be the major concern, the problem has been significantly exacerbated by the recent introduction of satellite radio. Imagine being closeted in a confined environment filled with chain smokers; it would be impossible for you to get a breath of clean air. It is becoming equally difficult for you to avoid the now-measurable damage from EMF exposure.
Dr. Carlo commented that the constant electromagnetic background noise seems to disrupt intercellular communication within individual bees, such that many of them cannot find their way back to the hive. His conclusions are confirmed by a recent study conducted by three departments of Panjab University (India), which has found that cell phone towers - the dominant source of electromagnetic radiation in the city of Chandigarh - could well be the cause behind the mysterious disappearance of butterflies, some insects (like bees), and birds.
Andrew Weil, M.D., author of "Spontaneous Healing and 8 Weeks to Optimum Health," fully agrees: "Electromagnetic pollution may be the most significant form of pollution human activity has produced in this century, all the more dangerous because it is invisible and insensible."
In some countries, up to 10 percent of the population suffers from a serious EMF-induced condition that Dr. Carlo and others call membrane sensitivity syndrome. In a recent address to the Health, Social Services and Housing Sub-Panel in the United Kingdom, Carlo explained:
"Originally, this type of condition was the result of high chemical exposures; we used to call it chemical sensitivity. Now we have identified the same type of condition in patients who are exposed to various types of electromagnetic radiation. It is a medical problem.
People who have membrane sensitivity syndrome have internal bleeding.
They can be in a room where somebody puts on a cell phone, and they will end up having an immediate reaction; they will go home and they will bleed and in their stool they will have blood. This condition is very debilitating. It prevents these people from being able to work; they cannot earn a living, they have difficult relationships with their children, their spouses give up on them. .. It is a very, very serious medical problem."
The bees are the modern-day counterpart of the canaries that miners used to carry with them as they descended into the mine shafts. If the birds died, it was an early warning of a buildup of toxic gases in the mine.
When canaries die or bees disappear, we are being cautioned that we too are in immediate danger. It is time to listen to the message nature is telling us. Denial - the favorite ploy of those whose profits are being threatened - is no longer an option. As Arthur Schopenhauer said, "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."
I shudder to think of what will become of humankind if we linger too long in stage two: "no more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."

There is a huge body of research on bees from Germany that has never been considered in the UK.
This research shows that bees carry magnesomes in their underbelly and are thus highly sensitive to magnetic fields. They communicate and navigate via electromagnetic frequencies.
The German researchers consider bees to be bio indicators for the biological effects of radiation. They are the canaries in the coal mine.
The current environment with microwave radiation levels billions of times higher than the natural background levels is like putting a fish in a poisoned pond.

I am adding this article to mix specifically because Dr. Jon comments on chemtrails and genetically modified crops as possible causes of the collapse of the bee population.
"Is it a stretch to hypothesize that government mandated spraying of

chemtrails could be part of a deliberate program to eliminate the bee
population? Or is this just another example of big business flagrantly

The Catastrophic Decline of our Bees
The alarming decline in bee populations across the United States and
Europe represents a potential ecological apocalypse, an environmental
catastrophe that could collapse the food chain and wipe out humanity.
Who and what is behind this flagrant abuse of the eco-system?
Many people don't realize the vital role bees play in maintaining a
balanced eco-system. According to experts, if bees were to become
extinct then humanity would perish after just four years.
"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would
only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination,
no more plants, no more animals, no more man," said Albert Einstein.
Others would say four years is alarmist and that man would find other
food sources, but the fact remains that the disappearance of bees is
potentially devastating to agriculture and most plant life.
Reports that bee populations are declining at rates of up to 80% in
areas of the U.S. and Europe should set alarm bells ringing and demand
immediate action on behalf of environmental organizations. Experts are
calling the worrying trend "colony collapse disorder" or CCD.
"Bee numbers on parts of the east coast and in Texas have fallen by
more than 70 percent, while California has seen colonies drop by 30 to
60 percent," reports AFP.
"Approximately 40 percent of my 2,000 colonies are currently dead and
this is the greatest winter colony mortality I have ever experienced
in my 30 years of beekeeping," apiarist Gene Brandi, from the
California State Beekeepers Association, told Congress recently.
The article states that U.S. bee colonies have been dropping since
1980 and the number of beekeepers have halved.
Scientists are thus far stumped as to what is causing the decline,
ruling out parasites but leaning towards some kind of new toxin or
chemical used in agriculture as being responsible. "Experts believe
that the large-scale use of genetically modified plants in the US
could be a factor (Montsano Corp. being one of the biggest and most
powerful of the genetically modified corporations)
Genetically Modified Food - killing millions and millions of
butterflies - now the bees...
Most of the world (European countries refuse to buy this food from the
U.S.) does not want to eat genetically modified food. The Montsano's
of this world do not want to hear this. They are trying to prevent us
even knowing whether or not we are eating altered substances. Lobby
for labeling of genetically modified food, and BOYCOTT ALL
tampered-with food substances. Eat Organic Only! if you possibly can.
Montsano's motive in meddling with agriculture is not to "feed the
world" -- the world is perfectly capable of feeding itself, if left to
grow organic food under a system of sustainable argriculture -- but to
buy up, own, and control the food supply of all human beings!!!
BOYCOTT
Below are two of our most common genetically modified foods. DON'T EAT
THEM: CORN, corn syrup, corn-meal, all those deliciouis Mexican chips
and tortillas, if made in America -- unless specifically label organic
or non-genetically modified -- are likely to be tainted. Hello
Kellogs - Hello Post, etc. Look at the labels and refuse to eat them.
If they can kill butterflies and bees, then they can kill animals.
SOY BEANS, all soy products, soy milk, soy oil, etc. Indeed this one
is ironic, since so many health foods have, since the beginning of the
health food movement, been made of soy. But now! DON'T EAT ANY OF
THEM! unless they are labeled organic or non-genetically modified.

Bee populations throughout Germany have simultaneously dropped 25% and
up to 80% in some areas. Poland, Switzerland and Spain are reporting
similar declines. Studies have shown that bees are not dying in the
hive, something is causing them to lose their sense of orientation so
that they cannot return to the hive. Depleted hives are not being
raided for their honey by other insects, which normally happens when
bees naturally die in the winter, clearly suggesting some kind of
poisonous toxin is driving them away.
"In many cases, scientists have found evidence of almost all known bee
viruses in the few surviving bees found in the hives after most have
disappeared. Some had five or six infections at the same time and were
infested with fungi -- a sign, experts say, that the insects' immune
system may have collapsed."
A study at the University of Jena from 2001 to 2004 showed that toxins
from a genetically modified maize variant designed to repel insects,
when combined with a parasite, resulted in a "significantly stronger
decline in the number of bees" than normal.
"According to Hans-Hinrich Kaatz, a professor at the University of
Halle in eastern Germany and the director of the study, the bacterial
toxin in the genetically modified corn may have "altered the surface
of the bee's intestines, sufficiently weakening the bees to allow the
parasites to gain entry -- or perhaps it was the other way around. We
don't know."
Kaatz was desperate to continue his studies but funding was cut off.
Some believe that big corporations like Montsano was behind the
decision. These corporations have a lot of clout.
While we are lectured by government to change our lifestyle and cough
up more taxes for the supposed peril of man-made global warming, an
environmental catastrophe that could eliminate the human race in the
figurative blink of an eye is looming.
Why are major environmental groups and lobbyists ignoring this mammoth
threat to our very existence? Where is Greenpeace?
The hyperbole surrounding man-made global warming is swallowing up all
the attention while real dangers like the rapid die-off of bee
populations and its link to GM food is largely shunned by governments
and activist foundations.
Is it a stretch to hypothesize that government mandated spraying of
crops with deadly chemicals as well as toxic substances contained in
chemtrails could be part of a deliberate program to eliminate the bee
population? Or is this just another example of big business flagrantly
abusing the eco-system in order to drive up profits?
The elite have publicly stated their desire to significantly reduce
world population on numerous occasions. Just yesterday we featured a
story about a British Government Ministry of Defence report that
postulated on the future use of bio-weapons to thin the human
population in under 30 years.
Making bees all but extinct would be a swift and plausibly deniable
method of enacting global population reduction long dreamed of by the
maniacal sociopaths that control the world.
Either way, this issue represents an overwhelming threat to the food
chain and an environmental crime of the highest order, for which the
perpetrators need to be brought up on charges of accessories to
genocide, should a deliberate effort to endanger the food chain be
proven, and the chemicals responsible immediately banned.
Please circulate this article to environmental groups and demand they
investigate who and what is killing our bees!

Good questions, most likely a mix of both, since the government don't see it as their duty to protect health of people, animals or biodiversity of ecosystems any more. They may pretend they do but the job they do is very poor. No industry is regulated under the free market free trade world - so big business wins no matter what they do, sure a few lawsuits make them liable to pay out billions which is good for justice but what is terrible for the world is that government allows the business empires to continue - even unbanning products that have done such damage in the first case proven by science to do this and won in a court of law! So to me it is the government to blame - they allow it all to happen and they never enforce laws on big business - it is always left up to the little people that get hurt to take action, because the government always purposely fail to do their job - instead they protect and serve the corps. When the government has the power to protect and preserve life they use it to allow the destruction of life. Very sick, very dark, even if they are just turning the other way and being lazy - they always know what is going on but ignore it and accept the back hander deals $$$$ or accept donations or have shares in a company.
I just pray some day things will stop taking a turn for the worse all the time and we will see radical positive change before it is too late beyond repair. We live in hope.
