odd cloud PostSun Jul 14, 2002 6:04 am  Reply with quote

I drive for a living. Today, while driving south on hwy. 3 near
Silverdale Wa., at about 2:30pm, I noticed a cloud that the northern
edge of it was colored green, as I watched the color shifted to a
pink/orange color. Then as the pink/orange faded on the northern edge
the southern egde began to pick up the green color and then it also
color shifted to the pink/orange and then faded out. The colors had
an aruora borealis quality to them the way they faded from one color
to another but I do not believe that it was. It also did not affect
any other clouds in the vicinity, and there were plenty. I think it
might have been some sort of rainbow effect, but nothing that I have
ever seen before. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Unfortunately I did not have a camera with me.Was this some sort of chemtrail cloud?

Hi crazymomlady, I have been seeing that A LOT and I live in Seattle. It usually goes along with seeing chemtrails/spreading contrails but I do not necessarily see the rainbow effect happening on said trails. It seems to happen wherever there is something to reflect it. So as the cloud moves, it moves out of or into the green/pink crazy rainbow. It is not a phenomona I have been observing all my life. It is new to me so it sure seems bad. I don't know what is causing it but I am glad there is someone else looking up.Some days the clouds look like oil slicks.

Hi crazymomlady, the following is a report from the CT reports thread page 1 http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001237.html from June 27th. Sounds a lot like what you saw.

quote:
Yesterday I witnessed the most unusual chemtrail. This report will back up the observations of eyesopen, deborah and others who reported the teal and magenta mid day "clouds".
Driving up I95 yesterday time approx. 2:15PM I watched a long trail being made. Watched it about 25 minutes before I drove beyond. Guess nothing up there should surprise anymore but this did....

The trail was one of those that kind of look like curly ques on the top side (bicycle chainish) and begin to appear like they are dripping from the bottom. Not all that unusual. Then the trail began to take on a slight green hue at the top and this visibly spread evenly to the bottom of the trail.(no sunglasses required) Then it turned within' 2 minutes a brilliant teal. Many motorists noticed this, I saw people in their cars looking and pointing in spite of heavy traffic. Then the upper curly edges began to turn pinkish purple. That darkened to a bright magenta and spread through the entire trail blotting out any teal. This happened even faster maybe a minute. It remained this color for several minutes then changed in to a bright white silver. Again starting at the top and the color worked it's way to the bottom. Since I was driving on a lengthy trip I went past it and couldn't observe the entire spread.

These colors were in no way rainbow/prism colors. They were like the day glow fashions that were so popular in the eighties.

All the storms and rain we've been having here is great. We have needed it but the chemtrail activity we don't need. Every day except for one (I think it was last Sunday)through any breaks they can be seen. It's disgusting.

Congratulations Carla, What you witnessed was not an evil "Chemical Conspiracy" involving thousands of people trying to poison you, but rather the benign and scientifically more rational phenomena known as iridescence or irisation. We went through this discussion month ago in the "A Mess by Morning" thread.

In addition, there is a related cloud phenomena that often occurs in mountainous areas known as lenticular or wave clouds. These are stationary clouds that form as air moves up and over mountain ranges.

Here are some of the links from that discussion:

Bonehead, I don't know if this was a "chem cloud" or an "irridescent cloud" but what I do know is it was a partly sunny day and there was only one(!) cloud that had this effect.I do watch the skies on a daily basis and I had not seen any chemtrails for a couple of weeks prior to seeing this cloud. Although activity has picked up. Last week on the 11th the sky was filled with chemtrails all day. Carla

Ah bonehead, what I saw was not a cloud. It was a "contrail".
