Watching the Omen: Final Conflict this evening. The first scene is an underground boring machine beneath Chicago that unearths the relics that can be used to defeat the AntiChrist. They are auctioned off to catholics....
I know it's fiction but it's all a part of the collecctive subconscious by now. _________________ “To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee” |

From the above movie's description:
"Planet Earth gets unique access to a hidden world of stalactites, stalagmites, snotites and troglodytes."
At first I thought it was a typo. At 34:20 the film defines troglodytes as, "animals that never emerge from the caves or see daylight." The film is referring to small fish that live in caves, but I thought you would appreciate the reference! This truly is an entertaining series by the BBC, I'll keep watching and posting if I come across anything noteworthy. _________________ “To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee” |
