I saw this August 2, 2007 and couldn't resist. Wouldn't you think the company would fix the sign? On inquiry, the N had been missing for some time, perhaps since the last hurricane.

Hurricane Ivan was my first Hurricane experience. I'll tell you this much, you would think the people around here would have it down pretty good, fact is they are pretty much dumb as a rock. The only thing more dangerous is the people who are put in charge pre, during, and post hurricane.

I got to comment on Katrina and New Orleans. Katrina destroyed Mississippi. New Orleans didn't get wasted until the rain aftermath broke through the levies. The people who needed help the most were in Mississippi, they watched in disbelief as convoys of supplies and materials were driven past them through their state to be delivered to the 3rd world country identified as Louisiana. Thanks to the NEWS ORGANIZATIONS for always leaving that little tidbit unmentioned.

If we could just get a Crash Test Dummy to do some news reporting, we would probably find out the truth behind the whole mess. Like who spun up the hurricane and sent it there and why.

I have been warning anyone who has guns that if they are asked just too register the weapons for "our own safety" or some such BS, they will come back soon after that and say that the gun registration has not been effective enough so now they just want to collect all the guns you so conveniently have already provided a list for. Although the most powerful weapons I could legally own are no match for an apache gunship, I'd prefer that to being defenseless and they know I haven't anything at all.
It is pretty overwhelming, even if they were outnumbered 1000 to 1, they have these microwave heat guns and sound weps and they have been preparing "labor camps" for about 10 years...maybe longer. But the thought of them getting away with their hideous plans is so absolutely unacceptable, I'd rather die fighting, which I am sure is okay with them. I think maybe the best thing might be to inform those well intentioned but misguided soldiers that what they are doing is poisoning everyone, including their families and friends. I have seen the videos of our guys gleefully shredding Iraqi civilians as if it is just a video game. They could easily be directed to turn their weapons on the American people.
But we must stand up to them. Remember, in Nazi Germany, in the 1930's, all those people cooperated and peacefully got on the trains, because they just could not believe the rumors of the mass murder. Those of us that are aware, already have seen that these "people" have already committed mass murder without hesitation.
