my first official protest. the WashPIRG group were friendly and informative and did not mind at all that I set my posters up next to them. the press conf was not open to the public however & the EPA head never even saw me - she did see the group of us w/ posters though - now I understand why environmental activists go to such extremes - an important meeting like that completely closed to the people the descisions effect. how insulting. hope i get another opportunity to march and yell though
