I have a mystery to solve help please

When ever I go under a street light it always shuts off for some dammed reason. Ive heard about us having some electrical field of some sort but never really looked into it. I was driving with a friend and i got into his car and his radio/cd player all together shut off. When i got out of the car it went back on i don't know if his wiring is under his passenger seat thats just plain an odd place to have the wiring at. Any help/research about this can help me clarify my dilemma. Then once again last night I was driving home from work and i went directly under a street light and it shut right off even when another car went under the same one. |

This happened to me almost like clockwork when I used to hang out with my friend Michael. We would cruise around town at night looking for parties and girls but most of the time just parked someplace and smoked & joked.
But all jokes aside; lights would always go off around us when we were in a heightened state of mind and I don't mean drugs - that is, we were beginning to become aware all the fascinating things going on around us. You may have your consciousness vibrating/tuned at the proper rate to negate the electrical current. Or on the more negative and paranoid side, you may have an implant that causes interference during specific times. Yet I do know of what you speak and I guess it is just your mind awakening and your soul shining brighter than any lamp.

I'm going to take the skeptical position on this one. In my belief, it's like someone pointing out a blue car. The next day, all you see are blue cars.
Street lights are usually set to timers, and most people don't even notice them going on and off. Once you see it, and even worse, think you cause it, every time you see one, it reinforces this belief.
The next time you see this happen, note the location. Go back there, stand in front of the damn thing, and see if it turns on and off at a regular interval, or if you're causing it.

Ive been keeping track of this. I've been driving back from work and its been happening ever so frequently now. While waiting to get on the highway a car ahead of me went under a street light and stopped at the stop sign. It left and as soon as I got closer to it the other car bolted onto the highway and the street light went out as soon as I got right under it. This is now freaking me out its been happening more and more lately. |

Sorry to hear it's still bothering you V. I understand how unsettling it must be for you and I sympathize. I thought Bhang's post brought out the positive potential quite well though and I want to share a positive experience with you too, even though I don't think it's related directly.
Once, in my past, I used to repair sensitive radio equipment. About 30% of the time I simply didn't have to, because the devices would spontaneously repair themselves in my presence. I know that sounds ridiculous but it's true. I swear it. Not mechanical failure such as a broken component of course, but more often than not when a device was 10, 20 or even 30% out of it's technical specification, ie it worked, but not very well. So often it was enough for me just to open the devices and look them over or even just touch them on occasion and they'd pass all the tests with flying colours - and they rarely broke down soon after either. I usually knew when it would happen too. It was a weird kind of "love thing". I can sometimes transfer it to animals too. Now a skeptic would debunk that immediately and I'd have to give in because I can't prove a thing, but I KNOW the truth of the matter. The point is, yes, these weird things happen in the electronic world and in my case it was no bad thing. I was a highly productive technician and my dog's arthritis would get better for a while!
Anyway, back on topic, it's just a thought, but have you experimented to establish the limits of your control over this phenomenon?
For example,
Are any and all electrical items likely to be affected?
If not, is there a pattern in terms of what you can influence remotely and what you can't?
Is it always lights that are over your head, or can you influence things horizontally too?
Supposing you walk under a light and it goes out, then you walk on and it comes on again. What happens if you turn around and go back under?
What about distance? How far away do you have to be from the object? Does it vary?
How do you feel when these things occur? Not so much psychologically, but physically. Do you tingle or does your hair stand on end or anything like that?
What happens if you are well grounded, ie barefoot and on wet grass or touching the bare metal on a domestic radiator etc
Any of these things might provide a clue as to what's going on. There are probably many more lines of inquiry you could pursue too.
I think my advice, for what it's worth, would be to try to understand this better, rather than worry too much at this stage. After all, as yet there is no evidence to suggest that there is anything sinister about this - and it seems you can take some comfort in the fact that you are not the only one looking for answers, given the large number of posts I found about this on the net.
Another thing I think I want to say too, is that I personally think an implant seems unlikely. To be frank my background is ancient enough that I have no real sense of the limits of what is possible these days, but it seems to me that an implant with the power to affect both streetlights and car radios would be rather difficult to accomplish without you being aware of it physically. That said though, it might be worth thinking back to when the symptoms started and checking whether there was perhaps any correlation with hospital or dental treatment around the same time?

Take a look at this too. It was written by a group called SLIder in 1993. SLI = Street light Interference, hence the name.

Most street lamps are high pressure sodium. These lamps, when
they reach the end of their life span do not burn out emediately
like regular incandescent lamps.
The high pressure sodium lamps will instead, cycle off & on, usually
at intervals of 15 minutes to maybe 30 minutes.
Maintenance crews are many times not called out to replace them because
much of the time these lamps are still operating (just not 100%)
there is a large parking lot next to my shop
that has at least 5 lighting poles that have old
HPS lamps in them & have been periodically cycling
off & on for about 6 months & stiill no crew have been
called out to replace them.
That could be what you are experiencing. |

What I failed to mention in the above post, is actually critical and is of most importance. The skeptics may say what they wish, yet those who have had it happen know that I am no fool; although I have been fooled and may be fooled again...
The students of synchronizations and ghosts, spirits, orbs, ufos, paranormal and a host of other treasure troves of information and/or experiences, can say without much doubt that some lights will go off around certain people during certain times with variables in time and location (space).
Depending on how innocent and pure a moment is; filled with love, joy, understanding and friendship; a wave, or burst of consciousness can blow out an electric lamp just like a flame blown out from a candle.
