THE 'ENTITLEMENT CARD' TROJAN HORSE
What could be more innocuous than a free bus pass?

When David Blunkett first floated the idea of ID cards back in 2003, he did so under cover of the name 'entitlement cards'. People saw through the spin and the government was forced to call them what they really are.

Four years on, we're seeing a re-emergence of the 'entitlement' concept as the Department for Transport expands its "National Concessionary Travel Scheme". Already running in Scotland and parts of Wales, this RFID smartcard-based scheme has several characteristics that are of concern:

* - the unique numbering of older and disabled people, and some children
* - significantly expanded collection and collation of personal information
* - a clear intention to share data across local and central government

When applying for one of these new 'bus passes', one has not only to submit to having your personal details shared for as-yet-undefined purposes but also to having every one of your journeys logged. And yet again the focus is on the card not the database behind it - or the amount of information that will be stored and shared, or who will have access.

Of course, a local authority-issued entitlement card could in time be made a 'designated document' - which means compulsory entry onto the national ID database.

It's not too late to kick up a fuss. Write to YOUR councillor and local authority - use http://www.writetothem.com - demanding that free and reduced-fare travel not be used as a Trojan Horse for central government data-sharing and ID agendas. There's no need for a local authority to withdraw entirely from the scheme, but it should *contractually* commit to using the cards for the single purpose of concessionary travel.

A government-issued database-linked smartcard of undefined purpose, tracking you and providing personal information to agencies and persons unknown is an ID card in all but name.

Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells NO2ID at the Fabians
Last Friday Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells NO2ID spoke to the Fabian Society on ID cards and the National Identity Register. Group co-ordinator Ian Holton said: "We received an overwhelmingly positive reception from the Fabians. Opposition to NO2ID was almost disappointingly thin, but a good debate was had nonetheless".
Cambridge NO2ID and student support
Cambridge NO2ID had a presence at the Cambridge University Student Union Societies' Fair on 2nd & 3rd October, kindly hosted by CU Student Liberal Democrats. Other political societies including the Conservative Association, the Fabians and Respect were also very supportive, and helped us hand out badges and literature. We now have several hundred student supporters at Cambridge University, and are hoping to organise policy debates about ID cards at several political clubs.
Manchester Students Against ID
Manchester Students Against ID promoted Manchester Amnesty's screening of "Taking Liberties", which featured a Q&A session with director Chris Atkins. Atkins praised NO2ID and other groups for their important work raising public awareness of issues such as the National Identity Register. Manchester NO2ID has been mailing all local media a press release based around the Home Office's "National Identity Theft Prevention Week", calling on the Government to scrap useless expensive identity cards and instead buy a cross-cut shredder for every household in the country.

Privileged Slaves must use a "Travel card" if they are to have access anywhere now in the UK by 2008/09 all state slaves that refuse will be prisoners in their own country. Not allowed to travel by Jet and in near future not allowed to travel by your own transport such as car or use of public transport systems - buses, underground tube, trains, etc. Black boxes controlled via satellite will be introduced soon, tolled by the mile at the rate of at least £1 per mile we are told.

We are slaves!?

Or will we wake up, stand up and fight, resist this fascist state in rising?

Some members/volunteers of the NO2ID group have been made aware of the chemtrail operations.

Will we submit to the Nazi one world government or resist? It is entirely your choice, will you have your soul taken, stolen, will you surrender freedom/life or will you fight and risk life to re-gain true freedom? If not then you let billions of life's be in vain that have died for freedom...you may as well be dead if you have no freedom, and that the government is doing systematically once again as it always does and has done throughout all its history.

More of us die from food poisoning and allergies than of fabricated terrorism...that is how sad this is, we must lose all our freedom for a lie, for something that has been created by them for their agenda. Nothing is above Freedom, Love, Health - we must fight for it. or lose it all.

If enough Americans got up I believe they could radically change the world and shift it back, you are the key, will you lose your country or fight for it and win? To resist at all levels. Never surrender freedom. Or is America destined to become the NEU FEDERAL EU.

UPDATE July 2007! The church authorities are now recalling ALL outstanding temple recommends and issuing replacements. The replacements are identical to the old recommends, but are imprinted with a bar code. We have been unable to obtain an image of the new recommend form. Church authorities claim that the purpose is only to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the temple, not for gathering statistical information.

Looks about right. So far only one US state has outlawed human chipping still?

I wonder what the most humane way of depopulation would be via chemtrail aerosols? The current slow nasty way isn't fast but diseases must be favourable by the elite, we can compare to the Nazi era experiments and post WW2 medical establishment how they like to poison us, the green revolution, more poison, genetech foods more poison now nanofoods, more poison.

Why not just spray us all with anthrax or something and have done with it? I guess the elite wouldn't find that as much fun.

I see it as a farm, rather than as an abattoir. If they wanted us dead they'd have done it by now. Ever grown plants from seed? You know how the tray of plants starts to grow and then you weed out the less desirable ones to allow the others to flourish?

That's how I see it - and the great weeding is underway - and along the way, if we can be made to "enjoy" a long lingering death supported by lots of costly medications then that's cool too. Ultimately, either we learn to use our spiritual energy or they'll steal it from us, nice and slow, without us even noticing.

PS: For me, they can stick their chips where the sun don't shine. Oh, hang on, on second thoughts that's not such a good idea is it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_document

Cards with centralised database could be used to track anyone's movements and private life, thus endangering privacy. The proposed British ID card (see next section) will involve a series of linked databases, to be managed by the private sector.

Historically, totalitarian governments which issued identity cards to citizens used them forcefully. For example, Nazi Germany made use of unique biometric identities by tattooing identification numbers on the arms of concentration-camp detainees.

United Kingdom
Main article: British national identity card
Since the early 1950s there has been no national identity card in the United Kingdom, but the Identity Cards Act (effective 30 March 2006) makes one compulsory for anyone getting a new or renewed passport from 2008. Driving licences and passports are now the most widely used ID documents. There are also various PASS-accredited cards, used mainly for proof of age purposes.

[edit] United States
Main article: Identity documents in the United States
The United States of America passed a bill entitled the Real ID Act on May 11, 2005. The bill compels states to begin redesigning their driver's licenses to comply with federal antiterrorist standards by December of 2009. Federal employees would reject licenses or identity cards that don't comply, which would force Americans accessing everything from airplanes to national parks and some courthouses to have the federally mandated cards.

The bill takes place as governments are growing more interested in implanting technology in ID cards to make them smarter and more secure. The U.S. State Department soon will begin issuing passports with radio frequency identification, or RFID, chips embedded in them, and Virginia may become the first state to glue RFID tags into all its driver's licenses.

The Real ID Act gives unfettered authority to the Department of Homeland Security to dictate and design some aspects of state ID cards and driver's licenses. Among the possibilities: biometric information such as retinal scans, fingerprints, DNA data and RFID tracking technology.

http://www.zebracard.com/

In more than 90 countries, Zebra card printers produce over 1.5 million identification cards every business day.

Looks like I have until 2016 to find a free country to live in then. That is when I will need to renew my passport. Hopefully countries with no compulsory ID cards will still exist by then.

Do Russia/Siberia have ID cards? I know post Nazi Germany has compulsory ID cards and China has them. Soon all greater Germany will have ID cards, eh.

Finding a free country is increasingly hard.

It feels almost futile to some extent, that is why it is so important we resist.
