Georgia Governor asking GOD for rain.

Today Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue did actually beg the higher powers for rain. Organizing a prayer in on the state Capital steps. The hope is for intervention, in the hopes of ending the states drought as Perdue's spokesman said last week, "the only place we get that (rain that is) is from a higher power".

ATLANTA - What to do when the rain won’t come? If you’re Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, you pray.
The governor will host a prayer service next week to ask for relief from the drought gripping the Southeast.
“The only solution is rain, and the only place we get that is from a higher power,” Perdue spokesman Bert Brantley said on Wednesday.
Here I am sincerely encouraging everyone who will to join in the prayer.
God still does have ultimate controll even if He allows others to assume a portion of it on occasion.
Heavenly Father, if it be in your will LORD, (and any others who may be listening to this prayer), please bring the good people of the state of Georgia the much needed rain they are in need of. Thank You Father. (and any other responsible parties).
I guess if they are playing God with the weather, now would be a good time to score some big points, the folks down in Georgia would find it just peachy to get some darn rain.  |

I wish him luck with that. I think having the National Guards get out the anti aircraft guns and getting rid of some chemtrail planes might get him rain quicker.

God must be relieved.
All those prayers for victory in HS football games must get annoying.
God has got to get tired of choosing which team deserves to win.
Recently Pat Roberts had people praying for Liberal Supreme Court Justices to die.
People praying for rain must be a huge relief. |
