Face jail for the slighest in a police state.

Is this worthy of going to jail for? Allowing a child to call their teddy bear a holy name? Or maybe any human should not be classed as a prophet or god. Stop calling humans Jesus please, they are not Jesus and offend all people religious or not, well actually I don't care one bit, call you kids and animals anything you want. Even have your own name renamed to something the state dislike just for fun to see how everyone reacts as they are programmed to.

HUMANS USE THE NAME, GOD DAMNIT! STOP CALLING HUMANS HOLY NAMES NOW THEN! GET THE UN TO OUTLAW IT.
I would like to laugh about this if it was not so stupid. Or I could react by calling my family by all holy names but it may not be a good idea seeing how things are. I could call myself any name I like.
We can call ourself any name we like by current UK laws at least! This is no excuse against extremists. Naming bears names are not the cause of it.
What county is this? I forgot. Either way all sides over reacting on it. At least there is no death penalty. English always get killed in these countries when on holiday though, even before any so called holy wars.

"Insanity" was my first thought upon seeing that on the news this morning too. Surely even the most blinkered person would have to see that woman meant no harm. From what I gather, it wasn't even her that picked the name, it was the children in her class. Outrageous. |

I think it was the way she presented the class project to the parents.
According to what I read, she sent a note home telling the parents to take photographs of themselves and their children giving presents to the "little intelligent bear, Muhammad". It was very patronizing, and condescending.
I find it annoying when people are flippant about Christ. It happens all the time.

I hadn't heard much on that side of things. Thanks for adding to it. I find it wrong for any country to have a state religion. Such as US Secular Humanism being an example. Or any Christian or Muslim state for that matter, no matter how popular it is. Not only does it kill choice and marginalises people it causes conflict and division along with disrespect of each others beliefs. I think this happens more under secular societies as well. The problem with Humanism is that it itself as secularism is a religion. A Christian may consider such a religion as being Satanist because of self progress and want for more greed and power. I thought the US Constitution catered for all religion, but with the country having Humanism as official it no longer possibly can do this.
