Engineering the Human Germline Symposium
Summary Report
June, 1998
This one-day symposium organized by UCLA's Science, Technology, and Society Program at the Center for the Study of Evolution and the Origin of Life was funded through grants by the Greenwall Foundation and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation

Background - Germline engineering definition.
Gregory Stock: I would like to make sure we all understand exactly what is meant by germline genetic engineering, because it's not a common term. When we talk about germline manipulations we mean manipulations to the germinal cells, the sexual cells: the egg and the sperm. In practice today that means altering the fertilized egg. When you make a genetic alteration in the fertilized egg, the first cell of the embryo, all of those changes will be copied into every single cell of the adult including the sexual cells, so normally they would be passed to future generations.
We're talking about significant changes, and that contrasts sharply with the kinds of genetic engineering and genetic therapy that's going on today. Genetic therapy today is somatic therapy, which has to do with particular cells of the soma (or the body), such as those of the lining of the lung mucosa, which are the target of the effort to treat cystic fibrosis. Such interventions are much more limited in scope.
You might ask, "Well, why is human germline engineering so important?" And the reason is that it embodies virtually everything about the powerful new technologies of molecular genetics and molecular biology that are coming back upon us. It touches at the very core of what it means to be human. It touches upon the flow from generation to generation, which is obviously very controversial. And it touches upon our relationship to our genetics because obviously we're talking about altering the genetics of an unborn child. _________________ ... we are in process of developing a whole series of techniques which will enable the controlling oligarchy who have always existed and presumably will always exist to get people to love their servitude. Coming back to the theme of ancient knowledge of electricity in either Egypt or Sumeria, I remaind you of some Egyptian jeroglific showing two monkeys holding in one hand a large knife in other hand holding an strange device resembling some type of large vacuom valve with an spyro winding inside and cables attached.
Don't remember where or what temple is the one with those gliphics, but I guess was the Karnat complex, not sure.
I try some time ago look for more info or references regarding scholars interpretation of this especific gliphics but not available, I agreed than could very well be a high voltage device ( reason to despise an unpredictible monkey holding a knife) for some unknow use, maybe there is a smoking gun connection here with the inventor of a levitating device for very large rocks, early twenty century, the creator of Coral Casttle in Florida, check link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coral_Castle
or http://www.coralcastle.com/biography.php
This man, Latvian-American eccentric Edward Leedskalnin claimed he cracked the method of construction of all old megalithic strructures of ancient Egypt incluiding the big pyramid.
He created an electrical array of big tuned coils and variable capacitors which he used to levitate huge pieces of limestone.(There are some old newspapers clicks with eye witness accounts of these)
Several egyptologist in the past thinking out of the box had claimed the fact than the only engineering good reason to cut huge pieces of rock in size to build such structures will made sense if weight where not an issue as when you are levitating your stones , then everything made sense , construction time wise and accuracy.
Check it out is interesting. |

Interesting indeed. Curious that no one ever saw him build the castle.
quote: Since it is documented that no one ever witnessed Ed's labor in building his rock gate park, some say he had supernatural powers.
The Ancient Bagdad Battery Found
Seems our scientists only do RE-SEARCH because the searching has already been done. Then VOILA, a new man gets the rave reviews of "discovery", like Ben Franklin, flying a kite. It's the trick of the elect. Obviously some scientists are more elect than others with access to very ancient documents and science.

Over the last few decades, miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres. Origin unknown, these spheres measure approximately an inch or so in diameter, and some are etched with three parallel grooves running around the equator. Two types of spheres have been found: one is composed of a solid bluish metal with flecks of white; the other is hollowed out and filled with a spongy white substance. The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian - and dated to 2.8 billion years old! Who made them and for what purpose is unknown. _________________ ... we are in process of developing a whole series of techniques which will enable the controlling oligarchy who have always existed and presumably will always exist to get people to love their servitude.
