We have a distrust of the government for good reason but, they are making moves to gain control of our own economy. The FED is under control of foreign interests, this must end and citizens must take control of their own economy.
Yes there is a problem, they are not going for the throat of this problem first. The problem is the base of the economy is crumbling. They have to shore up the base first. You should look at this as forced buying of stock at inflated prices. These foreign interests have damaged the economy bad enough that they can extort us to a great degree for assets under there control.
What you get in the long run is at an exorbident price we can gain enough control of the banking cartels to police them. The Treasury Department should have had control in this area all along. I hear a lot of crying foul. Policed the banks would never have built up the leverage they have built up. This is a job of the Treasury and the Treasury is responsible for control of the economy.
To big to fail, A definite mistake made by the government. This kind of government backing has been building monopolies. Monopolies were made illegal as a necessary check and balance long ago. The only people complaining about breaking monopolies are the rich and I believe the majority of the population are ready to turn a deaf ear to these complaints.
When to big to fail does fail it puts you in the position you are in today.
I wonder about the big three, the auto industry. Was the Delorean bust legit? Run right in and save them. Rip up that agreement they strong armed out of Delorean, we need people in industry that are willing to make high quality products. We have to quit running in an saving those that make undesirable products.
Stop the suppression of science. We need new products. It's even evident to farmers in the middle of Iowa that science has been at a standstill for decades. It just can't be denied. It's not a matter of national security. It's a matter of national security that science needs to be set free. It's a matter of national security that we also stop basing our economy on carbon fuels. These antique ideas need laid to rest. The wheel is obsolete, Roll out the Jetson cars. Quit maintaining roads and bridges and all the other overly expensive crap that goes with it. Oh that crap makes jobs, look around real jobs do not exist. Everyone can't work in service positions. That is a dog chasing it's own tail. We have to have gross national product to have an income. This requires cutting edge industry. There is no way anyone can disprove those last two statements. Since there can be no argument to this we may have to bypass Wall Street and invest in ideas that have merit. How else in this country at this point are you going to build industry?
Check out the price setting on LCD screens. This left you at the mercy of unscrupulous foreign companies and ripe for the price gouging. 600 million dollar fine? Boy did they make it fat from that. It's new on the news, search it. That doesn't stop at computer screens, with the push for change of format in TV. How many billions did they get from this gouge? _________________ Thomas Jefferson. How many people in the U.S. work for the government, in the UK it is like 1 in 4 people that work for the government, then there are a few hundred thousand skilled jobs that are filled, the rest unskilled and a big chunk unemployed and retired. Turkey on the other hand has is a young nation with average age being in the 20's.

It is normal the British have always had like the world's biggest government in all its history, we sent 30,000 bureaucrats to post Nazi Germany not to mention the trillions that came from the UK and USA to rebuild the country. Anyway government is wastful and needs downsizing.

Every child in the UK will be on central UK government database by 2009! We are not sleepwalking into a police state! We already live in one! Wake up people! The frog feels nothing on slow boil I guess.
UK government style is the enemy of freedom constitutional based American government.
Except we do have a constitutional monarchy. So I guess our Royals do not mind committing treason even if it means dethroning themselves? They never use any power they give to government anyway.
