Have you ever seen a KC-10 leave a contrail?
Yes. I listen to Albuquerque Center while I am photographing now, so I can ID aircraft making contrails. And why the heck wouldnt a KC-10 make contrails?
Are you saying that at some point in the past we had more of these then we do now?
I meant here in the US. Every single KC-135 stationed here in Phoenix is gone and overseas. I would assume it is the same everywhere else in the country. I wouldnt expect to see many tankers roaming our skies today.
Can you identify a KC-10 from 30 or 40 thousand ft
I sure as heck can ID a DC-10 from 30-40 thou. If it is at an angle, I may be able to tell if it is a KC if make out the color scheme or boom to differentiate it from a DC-10.
there was no problem mistaking a 727 for a DC-10 or KC-10,
HOW?!?!? Thats like mistaking a golf cart for a corvette.
If your confusing a DC-10 with a 727, I doubt you could tell the difference between a DC-10 and a KC-10.
Funny how none of you Disinformation agents live hear in the Pacific NW.
Why is this funny? Should I be omnipresent and be everywhere at once so I can help all you chemmies figure out what kind of plane your trying to look at?

You misunderstood fakie. To clarify for you,When observing planes through high quality optics I have no problem telling the difference between a 727 and a KC-10 it's as clear as the pictures you posted.
Are you really saying that you think every KC-10 and KC-135 that we have is out of the country? You are a complete fool or a sick and perverted pathological liar! |

ugh. No, of course not. MUCH of the inventory is overseas though. Considering, normally, about 1% of all flights you see are military, I doubt you would see many flights in our skies today. |

just 1% that depends on where you are, I see or use to see (I've moved since then) at least five refuelers a day take off and thats before the war, there are probaly more within that days time I don't get to see everything. |

You can keep on doubting down there in Phoenix with your head stuck in the sand.
Why do you pretend to know what the military is doing over the Pacific NW ? |

I live less than 10 miles from Luke AFB, the largest F-16 training base in the country. I know whats its like living near an AFB thank you.
OK, so you saw 5(!) tankers per day. And do you know how many commercial flights flew near you during that time period? Hundreds.
Im assuming you think that every single KC-135 in the US is being loaded up with a giant tank of chemicals so they can go back and forth spraying their load over the countryside. Well, go ahead and think that. Keep being ignorant of all things aviation, so whenever you see an America West A320 (which you will think is a white government aircraft) in a holding pattern due to ATC delays, you can go ahead and tell all your friends that the racetrack pattern they see isnt normal, and that they are spraying SARS on us all.
Go right ahead. |

A large number of massive chemtrail "clouds" blew over the Spokane, Washington area today. I observed few spray planes laying trails; most of the jet aircraft just had their normal, short, easily dissipating contrails; however, the winds were so brisk that by 1:30 in the afternoon the sky had become completely covered in chemtrails blowing in from another area from the west where the spraying had taken place.
The weather reporters oohed and aahed about our beautiful, sunshiny weather and commented on the high pressure system over our area today, not even hinting of all the chemtrials that had blown in and covered our area during the afternoon.

It's amazing how some of you insist that real contrails CAN last for hours, while others insist that they only last a few seconds... IT'S JUST CRAZY!!
