I am watching the "appearance" of the above-referenced "strip clouds" out my window to the west right now. At the moment I count four completed, and one in-progress. They look exactly like the ones pictured above and are aligned parallel with, or at no greater than a 25-degree angle to, the earth's surface.

Well what I think it is, is that those pesky ice crystals just went on strike then and there. Refused at just that particular point in space to go to work and form the rest of those "contrails". I mean, there's no other explanation. IS THERE?

actually sedona,
the better explanation is that the aircraft passed from one air mass to another. each mass has different charactaristics.
if the "on again off again" thing is a true indicator of chemtrails, then how do you explain me witnessing a commercial airline 747 over the middle of the atlantic ocean producing a "on again off again" trail? i was 1000 feet below the 747 and lightly behind and so had a great view of the "spraying". why would richard branson (owner of Virgin) spray chemicals over the middle of the atlantic?
have you seen the numerous reports from various scientific agencies explaining basic contrail charactatistics including the "on and off"?

Actually Marcinko, if you will take a moment to notice, you can see that the upper strip in the inset pane is created from 3 differing trails. That wouldn't make any sense with your hypothesis. |

better yet, why not have around and a round
off and on and off and on
trails between 2500 and 5000 feet
now that all the "old" rules of "contrail formation" have been thrown away,
we can have any kind of new trail they can create explained by the new rules.

Ah yes mark- the new rules: easily tying knots in the basic laws of physics, no problem.
And speaking of the other pertinent version of the new rules, de bunkums may slither past the door for a moment, but in this clarified fresh space will be immediately redirected to the appropriate vacuum. Time's up: off you go now. I like to think of you all opening your own website soon- where of course no one will ever come. Hope you enjoy your own company- certainly no one deserves it more. |

I have just observed the following within the last 6 minutes:
Looking, by chance, out my 24th floor window to the north, I noted a horizontal "stack" of strip clouds lined up one after the other from north-to-south [drifting south, toward my location.] These strip clouds were all about the same length [stretching across about 40 degrees of my 180-degree field of vision here] and were lined up fairly "evenly" with each other. In other words, their ends pretty much "matched up."
The ones closest to me were the most dispersed, i.e. they looked like slowly dispersing short trails. The ones further back were less and less dispersed the further back they were. These strip clouds showed up strikingly clearly [bright white] despite the many lights in this densely-populated urban area. I counted 10 of them total.
I looked at them, the entire "package" drifting my way, for about 3 minutes. Then I came over here to my bench and dialed up, checked my mail, found this thread, and went back to the window to check on these clouds. They were gone, every single one of them, in a matter of less than 3 minutes.
In the space where they had been when I first noted all 10 of them 6 minutes previously, I saw exactly nothing.
Just conveying an observation.

Although the entire "deck" of strips was drifting very slowly toward my location [the leading "edge" of this deck being almost directly overhead at the time of my initial observation] I do not think it "blew away" within the 3-4 minute period I was away from the window. I think it dissipated. This is not an uncommon phenomenon here. It's just that I am less likely to note it at night as I am more likely to be indoors at night than during the day. This particular "observation" really got my attention.

Yesterday, the Chemtrails started in the late afternoon on the west side of town, I too, was observing some highly-persistent blunt end strips drifting towards my vantage point. I looked away for a few minutes and was surprised not to see them, but looking more directly upwards, noticed that they had not disapated, but were almost out of my view. If this isn't what happened to you, I'd have to conclude these were not Chemtrails based on my research.
It is somewhat surreal to see a field of these strips that have persisted for hours, and watch commercial planes flying right through them leaving 15 second contrails. Houston is really an excellent place to observe Chemtrails, since the differences in persistence between them and contrails are so extreme. Flight Explorer has been a wonderful tool for sorting the wheat from the chaff, or contrails from Chemtrails in this case. |

Watching out the window several "strip trails" drifting toward my location from the southeast. They are oriented parallel, perpendicular, and at all angles in between, to the surface. Most are slowly spreading into wide "fish skeleton" formations. These "fish skeleton patches" are beginning to fill up an otherwise clear sky to the south and southeast.

Observations continued:
Looking out window to my south, I see a huge "spoke cloud" formation [six "spokes" so far, radiating northward] with several long and short "strip trails" in-progress from E-to-W in front of it. The formerly "clear" sky is currently being obliterated. Very "busy" this morning. |
