Is it necessary to add MIDI files to posts?
It always crashes my system, and I have a fast connection so I don't think the problem is on my end. |

I frequently experience problems with midis here as well ScaredForTheFuture, and I am cable connection. They sometimes don't load, or they cut out, or cause my pc to freeze up. Dont't know why this happens.
I moved this topic from Chemtrails to Admin Help for obvious reasons.

Try Mozilla
http://www.mozilla.org/
It isn't as bloated as IE.
Also, most browsers have options where you can turn off sound files. see if this works. |

The point isnt what your using, depends on what your system is setup like, in other words on my system quicktime is set to play midi files....and i use IE 6 with the latest service pack.
But i have to agree, if i wanted to hear Dream Weaver or whatever MIDI i'd download it, i realize thats a forum feature but that feature should be user specific....And this only pertains to Mark Sky cause he's the only one that does it and changes the midi often....Disabling that feature wouldnt hurt anyones feelings im sure and at teh same time it would solve all the bickering. |

I did have 3 players installed, Windows Media, Real Player, and Quick Time, so I removed Quick Time just for the halibut to see if that helps.
Thanks Seeker! |

Well I've had no problems with MIDIs now that I have reinstalled WMP, making sure it is the default player for MIDIs.
Good advice Seeker! |
