BTW Thermit, I have been looking into the
"illegal operation" lockup problem.
It seems to be a common problem called a "Kernal32.DLL" invalid page fault
If you copy the details section from the popup and paste it into Goggle, you will find tons of reading about what causes it.
this is the "detail"

and if you have been in a plane lately
they block the sky EVEN IF it is already blocked by "clouds"
IE visibility was all ready blocked by "clouds" below
but they are blocking above that level
with smeerous decks |

That kernal problem might mean you have a virus or worm affecting your files.
Websites do get taken down.
One astronomy site that claimed to have caught a certain 'spacy agency' doctoring photos, was taken down almost immediately in a 'denial of service' attack.
MOD got taken down after the webhosts got their politically biased noses out of joint.
DR. Boyd Ed Graves lab birth of aids was hosted at many servers, and for several years the websites vanished as fast as we put them up.

Shatoga, either you need a new ISP..or you need a Macintosh Computer Operating OSX 10.3.
You can get a good G-4 Mac for under 800 bucks now.
