I want to draw the administration's attention to a thread called 'Questions....' on the CT Science forum.
i earlier made a post to that thread in good faith and offending no one i hope.
Sucking eggs has responded today the 19th at 2.22 pm in a thoroughly offensive manner. In fact his post appears to have no other motive or aim. This is how it starts...

I'm not familiar with all your rules here but i would hope that they don't condone a deliberate mocking of my user name--leaving the 'e' off and capitalising NOT. And calling me 'fake Phil' is surely not proper behaviour here.
The whole piece seems designed to provoke and concludes with this, which surely is beyond whatever pale you have here.....

I remember a three man tag team who almost always mocked my username:
"shatoga" ('greywolf'in Lakota souian)
by deliberatley misspelling it as:
"$#@#!".
I took it in the vein of having once been a rightwinger,
and knowing they use ridicule when rational argument is not available.
I responded with
"$eeker" for 'seeker'
"pseudo Veteran" for 'Proud Veteran'
Nobody took it as an unforgivable insult.
My counsel is to be proud that your screen name is being attacked, because they have no rational argument to dispute your thesis.
Try to remember (and even quote if need be)
"they use ridicule when rational argument is not available"
The attempted insults likely mean your rational argument has hit too close to home for them to be comfortable in their illusions.
IMHO, it;s not a banning offense...just bad manners.
Try to be better than me, and not answer in kind.
I used to also be an irrational rightwinger, after all, before learning to respect facts, no matter the origion.

I certainly agree with this--i would be appalled if anyone was banned for such nonsense. Just a flogging to an inch of his shell would do it for me

really the only thing "offense" going on here, just briefly scanning this particular forum, is how the moderator "fl kook" has taken it upon itself to "cleanse" this board from contrary opinion...
and the poster "halva" seems to be fueling the fire to precipitate these actions...
people that ban others for "ideas" are nazis...
then again maybe this is just a place to spread illuminati propaganda ? and different opinion spoils the milk...

FLKook is about one the most fair moderators/council members around here.
Obviously you weren't here when this board was being attacked on a daily basis by organized people who could find nothing better to do than try to break up this board.
It was about time a system was set up to deal with those trolls,flamers and baiters.Funny how activists here don't go flame debunkers sites.Ah...hypocricy in action.
All I have to say is...keep it clean and you'll be fine.

well that's your opinion...and like I said reading this forum it is clear that "flkook" has a bit of a "god" complex...or maybe just a perpetual case of PMS, who knows...
if I were a betting man I'd say this board is dead on the ideas/discussion side (according to the lights alerting new posts anyway)...this "group" that you say runs things now most likely, some of them see this endless daily banning and they are probably in shambles and fighting amoungst themselves as what to do about it...
since it is hard to ignore these facts I don't know how or why new people would ever want to post here knowing the sword that hangs over their heads.
next time I'm this way I'll drop in and see how many more have been banned by the "flkook"

Hmmmm if I wasn't so tired from my holiday drive I'd probably find some reason to ban everyone that doesn't agree with me... Let's start with my pagan friends... If they really wanted to EXCHANGE info, then they should go to sites where there are like minded people that share their beliefs.
We have the same problem at MOD, but are less tolerant of riff-raff.
