Thermit, the last few (and many) temporary sinkings of this vessel
have resulted, in your words, as a lack
of available disk space
if this is correct, what would it take to shore this boat up a bit
what would an upgrade cost
i know i have overloaded this boat
as have others
unlike some other vessels this one seems to keep taking on cargo
and thus the disk space, carring capacity
would become overloaded
what would it take to double the carrying capacity of the ship? |

If this problem had to do with e-mail spam,why all the sarcastic stuff posted when no one else could post? On the Chemtrail Forum page at the bottom,just below the messages,Who's on line or visitors in the past 24hours.At the time of the spam attack someone was able to post this sarcastic piece"Visitors{0} There's no one else around".Would someone explain to me how this is possible?No one can get access ,yet somebody still is posting sarcastic crap. |

I believe that mech and Swamp Gas has tagged the real reason for the crashes. A bit of gloating on the internets premier hate mongering site should be a clue as to what is happening.
Too much information about this site and it's members is being tossed around on that site for them NOT to have access to private information.
Of course this is just my opinion, and as 'they' are saying on the afore mentioned site, we here are all computer illiterate and do not know better.

The three times this board failed over the past few months, I also noticed the blurb "there is no one else around" in the Visiting in the Last 24 Hours section. I thought it was a joke at first too, but then I just figured it was a default comment that this board puts out when member’s names are NOT registering as visiting. Each of those three times, even within the same hour, the board would pick up a member or two and register the names, and then it would default back to zero and display that same message above.

Kind of off topic here but why is that you (or I do at least) always have to hit the refresh button to see the most recent postings on all forums. It seems as if the script used does not auto-refresh, especially if, like Orwell said, you don't delete your cache and temp internet files.
Regarding the recent glitches, there is no possible way that such malfunctions are in regard to too little disk space on servers. Regardless if it's porn, spam email, or poetry consuming all the space. I think it's either some type of SynAck attack or an educated ARP attack, or someone who really knows how to exploit cookies (i.e. a cookie monster).
If this was sometype of DDoS attack, even the person attacking would not be able to add the quip "no one else is around". Their hosts/daemons would be too busy sending packets. So this is why I think these attacks are more intricate than DDoS or mass flooding.
