Update
Everything is going great with the plan to migrate the forums to the new system!
The moderators are helping me with a bit of testing before we make the big jump, in a week or two, I'm guessing.
Please take this as notice that we may start this process at any time now.
Please clean-up your PMs as requested previously.
When the switch-over begins I will restrict posting to the old board, so that I can convert the complete set of threads without things changing during the process. Then I'll be removing links to the old forum and replacing them with links to the new forum. This process will probably take an hour or less.
Then you'll need to use your existing login ID and password to login to the new forum system for the first time.
(Note that any bookmarks or links to the old forum like http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi won't apply anymore after the switch-over.)<br clear=all>

Think we might be starting this process tonight.
If you are unable to post, or encounter broken links for a time, this will be the reason.
When the CTC homepage has a little bit of new look to it, you'll know that we are done (or getting close).

Thermit, like I told you the other night, this is looking great here! Good job! And thanks for keeping the layout similar to the old board, it makes it easier to get around.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Is there a way to disable the "Notify me when a reply is posted" feature. If possible, I'd like to click it ON when I want to know about posted replies.
2. Can I make the default font size larger in my PM and Reply text boxes? I don't mean so it's larger when it posts, I'd like it larger for while I'm typing. I think I was spoiled by the font size at the old board.
BTW, I LOVE the preview feature! Still haven't had a chance to use the search feature. I'll have to try that one soon too!

In your profile, you can set your personal default for email notification of replies...
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.
I'll have to look into the font size issue for posting.
Reminder, search by keyword won't work yet, but you can search for posts by a particular member now.... |

Thermit.... I like most everything about the new board... but I'm wondering how I can get a larger text to work on my computer... I used to have that working good but now it's seems to be disabled... Also I miss the What's Popular and Who's Linking catagories that used to be accessible. Are these two catagories permanently gone now? |

Catnip57, I'll have to look into the text issue. I've added the Who's Linking back into the menu, but the links from that page need to be updated. I'll need to look into a replacement for the What's Popular feature. Good stuf, thanks... |
