Heavy Spray-day over Sacramento!!!!!

Anybody in the Sacramento area with a camera....please look up and get some pics!!
Time is now 3:00pm and the sky looks like a marbled mess of trails and tracks...UNBELIEVABLE!!
I've been outside all day and in a position to observe the sky over Sacramento....and what started out crystal clear, royal blue skies is now a marbled mess. This was definitely short sleeve weather today a great day to spend on the lake....but the chem pilots evidently don't like clear skies, so by afternoon they decided to make a mess of it. There was every kind of chemtrail anomaly overhead today....and still is overhead as I write this. I watched aircraft make the dashed, stop and start trails....I watched as planes not spraying suddenly began leaving their white voluminous wakes and then shut them off as quickly as they began, leaving behind trails that cut off with straightedge precision as if by a scissors. I saw two parallel trails that both simultaneously made a 90 degree turns.
The sky is now riddled with multitudes of parallel and criss-cross patterns.....seems they don't like clear blue so they're working on an overcast. No way is this natural or normal...

Cy, I have watched all day as this stuff was being formed and sent to you. The sky here is so crazy today that you would have to be blind not to see. You have some pretty mean looking stuff comeing your way.
We have had litterly dozens upon dozens of short trails today. No we have the long pre-formed feather edged trails coming in off of the coast. Today is one of the most intense days I have seen recently, and these short trails are the new "norm".
Some of the planes are coming from the south west in a straight line going to the coast, leaving the short on off trails you discribe.

Yes, Cy, today was a virtual sampler of every type of contrail imaginable. I did watch them being formed, however what became dot/dash, broken contrails were actually not formed from the airplane itself, but a minute or three after the remaining contrail was suspended. It is kind of bumpy at the higher altitudes, or so it is reported by some of my friends who were flying today. I can say for a fact, that every cloud that is currently visible is a remainder of a contrail. I hope you get flight explorer and we can share observations and contribute to Thermits' research. Did you see those pics of shiptrails out there in the Pacific? Armstrong and Getty, the morning talk show hosts on KSTE were invited by someone in the National Guard to do their talk show live, while amongst those in the Marines and Navy and Air Force, and Guard, in the ongoing war games, beginning today. I wonder if their station manager permitted them to do so. I will be listening tomorrow in the a.m. to see if this came off. Can anyone come up with some sites which my post information about the war game exercise that is going on this week? I do not have much time to do the search. Good to see I'm not the only one noticing it. I suspected there might be turbulence today due to the heating and high winds aloft. I'm not so sure that thermals and air pockets can account for all the dashed type trails though.
I watched a couple of theses planes and it was uncanny how the trail just seemed to stop and start. I've seen when aircraft fly through warmer and drier air pockets leaving normal contrail before....and in that case, most always the trail is still visible, just dissipates more rapidly in the drier or warmer air pocket.....but these trails today just seem to shut off suddenly. One second the spray is seen emanating in huge volumes not forming far away from the engines as you see in normal contrails....but instead forming immediately behind the wings about the span of the wing. Then suddenly it stops....no contrails seen.
It's interesting to note also that when the trails appear to dissapate, they really are just spreading out and making the sky a milky color. What looks fairly blue when you look up is thicker than you think. I watched a jet virtually disappear into a haze when from the ground it looked like relatively clear section of sky. I would therefore guage the persistence of these trails...waaaaay past 5 hours (more like the rest of the day when you consider how they spread out).....Oh and about the Armstrong and Ghetty show, that's very interesting. I love those guys in the morning. I think you might have been hearing friday's replay though (I didn't think they have a show on sunday)....But if there are wargames going on.....it would be interesting to see if there's a correlation between war games and heavy contrails.

Cy, I have seen "trails" that seem to last almost all day as well as days when planes poring out spray seem to be in the skies continually, sometimes 2 or 3 at a time coming from various directions. I wonder if these planes are really up to "no good" and being run by some as yet unkown faction, if they are based at the many now closed air-bases through-out the country, such as the big SAC base at Plattsburg, N.Y. and other such bases. The budget cuts from some time ago seemed to close up several bases and I wonder if those are in use now as I mentioned for some clandestined purpose...especially the really "out-of-the-way" ones. Just a thought. D. |

Cy, my husband used his super duper Bushnell binoculars, to observe one of the heavy trail producers, Sunday morning, and id'd it as an Alaska Airlines craft. Due to its very high altitude, surmised it was on its way to Mexico. |
